Yes, he's still there. Realistically he should be able to find the policy docs as they get emailed out, so let's hope he's just flustered.

The bits of the Trump-Musk interview that I've read about made me think of the Philomena Cunk TV programmes - except it would be Cunk interviewing Cunk, what with Trump and his "nuclear warming" and Musk pontificating the danger from increased CO2 is that we'd all suffocate. "God preserve us from rich, stupid men" is my prayer for today.

I honestly cannot believe the brass neck of Liz Truss to think anyone cares what such a spectacular loser would think of her opinion on anything. She is clearly still living on planet Truss and hasn't breathed the real air for a while.

It is also painfully obvious how much clear water is developing between Farage - who can at least claim the mantle of winning an election - and Trump. But then grifter radar must be super tuned to pick up lost causes.

So many odd bits from that interview that I’ve heard. Musk claiming dropping nuclear bombs wasn’t terrible because Hiroshima and Nagasaki are doing well now. So it’s not as scary as people think. Trump claiming that you can’t sell cars to Europe in an interview with Elon Musk. That will be news to anyone with a Tesla.

Pleased to read your update about the documents pointy although the sprain sounds painful.

I, for one, did not and do not buy this crock that these are in any way remotely representative of the person on the Clapham Omnibus.

And it's a shame our supposedly competent press (who really have a lot more to answer for than this) couldn't do some basic fucking journalism before they decided to print the headline. Because as we all know, that's what people will remember.
