I don't mind what it is, as long as it's good. Something big or small, it doesn't matter as long as it made someone happy.
No moaning allowed.
Thanks.

My 12yo must have told me she loves me about 20 times today AND she let me practise hair styles on her hair.

My birthday is in a month and today dh tells me that they have both already ordered my presents

Feeling very loved today!

I met a gorgeous lil puppy when visiting my aunt. So cute made me feel all warm and fuzzy ☺️

I went out for dinner with very low expectations of my meal.
It was glorious!
I’ve also had a post delicious dinner nap!

My dog came over for a little cuddle. I gave him 2 gravy bone biscuits he was so happy. He is such a giving and happy boy, he welcomes me into the house every time I come home - he expresses such joy

Today I saw a wolf on the beach. We were safely on a boat and it was one of the most wonderful things I’ve ever seen.

Cheesecakelunch · 04/08/2024 23:23

DC returned from their dad's today, happy and joyful.

Tucked their teddies in and told me that the mummy bunny lives here and the daddy one lives at dad's and that was OK for the children teddies.

My default is feeling sad about my divorce but this made me feel that me and the ex are doing something right.

AtTheTurnybus · 04/08/2024 23:23

Aw, thank you people. Xx
Ps. A wolf. Wow

I learned how to skim stones today. I've always wanted to, ever since my neighbour did it when I was little and I thought it was some kind of witchcraft. I tried and tried but couldn't do it.

DH taught me on the beach today. Finally got the hang of it Smile

My daughter’s hamster loves his new jumbo sized wheel and has started galloping on it!

Enko · 04/08/2024 23:27

Ds who is at uni and working over summer. Came home for a flying visit last night and back today. We had a lovely breakfast and then he and dh walked the dog. Returning w coffeea. Ds commented on how much better dd2 was (whose mental health took a downturn after covid) and we spoke a bit about how amazing she is doing now.

Also I emptied all laundry baskets and washed all laundry and did the ironing. So week starting with no laundry bar the 4 towels still not dry.

Cute. Hope it's a quiet wheel.

Well, I get on everyone's nerves if I see a deer. 😀

I spent all day playing ‘Sylvania’ with my DD’s and their sylvanians - hilarious, mind numbing and beautiful in equal measure.

grumpygallbladder · 04/08/2024 23:39

I am in hospital, the people of mumsnet gave me really good advice about going in and my care has been brilliant. The NHS can sometimes get a bashing but every member of staff has been lovely. 2 of my kids came to visit today and we had a lovely few hours laughing and hanging out.

Hope you're on the mend now.

I was recently in hospital and the staff were all lovely.

So busy, but wonderful.

I went to the cinema with 17 yo DD and she held my hand! I wouldn’t have been seen dead with my mum as a teen (I was dreadful)

SleepPrettyDarling · 04/08/2024 23:44

Visited my 90yo mum who was hale and hearty, and we had strawberries for dessert.
Drove home by the coast and saw a lovely cloudy sunset.

AtrociousCircumstance · 04/08/2024 23:44

@shellyleppard please share the recipe, that’s sounds amazing!

BeretRaspberry · 04/08/2024 23:46

Driving through Chatsworth last night and we saw a group of deer running along. They were beautiful.

LiterallyOnFire · 04/08/2024 23:46

My DD's cats have being playing nicely with my dog and my puppy all day. Including cooking up a plan to steal my pine ones from under my nose while I caught up on work.

They're all incredibly sweet when they don't clash.

Sunraysunday · 04/08/2024 23:47

The bees are using the bee hotel my Dad made :)
