Yesterday my family took me to lunch and gave me my award for winning ‘ the best predictor or Euro 24 scores.’
There are 14 of us, 12 football fanatics and my DD and me. The two of us just put random numbers against random teams and came first and second. The rest studied form and all the other malarkey. We totally out classed them by a huge majority.

Our dream of an extended blended family ad-hoc get together came true yesterday after decided to buy a house together last year. We had all the grown up siblings and their partners (eg me) over to our new house and all the kids aged 1-21 played happily in the garden we all ate lovely pot-luck bits and bobs. Then everyone pobbled home before a reasonable bedtime. It was ace. And one of the many beneficial reasons we decided to co-habit
