Colour of your bins

Let’s discuss an extremely boring topic, just regular and recycle.

Regular Bin: Green
Recycling Bin: Brown

Black - general waste

Cream - paper/cardboard

Burgundy-

glass/plastic/foil

Green - garden/food waste.

Regular- grey
recycling- brown
cardboard- blue

Are you a scouser with a purple bin? 😉

General waste - Black wheelie-bin
Garden waste - Green wheelie-bin
Plastic/glass/foil Recycling - green bin (small)
Paper/cardboard recycling - bright blue bag
Food waste - small brown bin

I had no idea there are so many colour com-bin-ations !!!!!

It's no wonder the UK has such a poor recycling record. .

I live very close to the council boarder so half the road has one set of colours the other half has similar colours but different rules, my blue bin is for paper , there's is bottles.

Three bins here all green:
Recycling - blue lid
General waste - green lid
Garden waste - brown lid

I find the bags a bleddy pain, but glad we're getting a food waste collection finally. Just need an aircraft hangar to keep them all in now...
