I’ve just complained to the BBC. Describing these events as ‘protests’ and the people as ‘protesters’ and also chucking around the description ‘pro British’ is really reckless news reporting. This isn’t protest and it’s not pro British. It’s nationalistic racist rioting and mindless violence. It’s really angered me this morning. ‘Protest’ was the word attached to a video of balaclava clad men storming into a hotel having set a fire outside. It’s diminishing what this actually is.

Potentially very little since they may just have been passing by and not actually involved, but if they were involved, our answer was, suspended with immediate effect pending further investigations.

Well, I’m going to go out and walk a dog. I volunteer at the local Dogs’ Home and it’s brilliant for mood lifting. Can trust the doggos, even the poor abandoned bullies with ears cropped by absolute arseholes to be non racist and just up for treats, cuddles and a good old walk.
