Ah, I think I understand now. Yaxley-Lennon and his gang are protesting for the right for anyone to go anywhere they like, which is why they are outside hotels that may house immigrants, because they believe that those immigrants to should be allowed to go whereever they like.

I think this must be "the cause" they are fighting for.

Just the BBC describing ‘pro-British protestors’ FFS.

Hamza got quite snippy with the presenter on sky news when she called them protestors.

Fox comes from a famous family and has failed at everything - acting, singing, being mayor, his marriage - he's desperate for something to be 'proud' of

It does also seem to follow that the counter protestors are anti-British.

That’s the logic. If they are pro British (they aren’t, obvs, but if they were) anyone opposing them is against being pro British. That’s being anti British.

There was a lot of people saying they ( Farage and co) need reporting standards committee at parliament.. I kind of agree but can you imagine the absolute outrage of the "our voice is never heard" crew!
I am despairing, I also think that there is an element of co-ordinated action against this particular government from somewhere.

His parents also have a very strong Christian faith. They must wonder what went wrong, surely? James Fox was in the middle of a mental health crisis when he was welcomed into a church in Blackpool (of all places). Gave up acting for a while, post-Performance (amazing film, but can see why it might take its toll on an actor and the director was not the most stable of people either). Met his wife in the Church, came back to acting eventually, always strikes me as quite a humble man.

I said this to my DH earlier today: Why hasn't Sunak spoken up against these riots? During his time as PM he failed to call things out so many times. In fact, the only time (that I can remember) that he spoke up was against the use of the P-word because it was about himself.

I'm glad he's finally said something and I could say better late than never, but I actually think the only reason he's done so is because Priti Patel gave a strong statement about it this afternoon and it's made him look a bit stupid (again).

Gosh, it pains me immensely having to praise her for anything.

Suella may want to be leader of Reform but Farage doesn't like competition. He's already upset Tice and Habib. It is after all his Ltd company and not a political party, so doesn't have to abide by the same rules.

Oh that might be entertaining @Spandauer watching Braverman and Farage slug it out between them. In a Nasty Contest I wouldn't know where to put my money.
