From the BBC

Mumsnet seems to have quite a large London population I thought it couldn’t hurt to spread the word. I can’t even imagine how scared a 6 year old would be out alone all night.

A compiste image of a missing six-year-old girl in London. On the left is a school photo headshot, on the right is a CCTV image of her walking down the road.

Police launch urgent search for missing six-year-old girl in London

The girl was last seen on CCTV on Monday at about midday wearing light pink clothing.

Flibflobflibflob · 30/07/2024 06:12

God, she’s so little, I hope she’s found safe soon.

opalescented · 30/07/2024 06:15

Oh poor girl! Check your gardens and alleys if you're nearby

TerrazzoChips · 30/07/2024 06:23

Oh gosh, she was last seen at midday but wasn’t reported missing until 22:40!

Poor little girl. I hope she’s found ok.

Kianai · 30/07/2024 06:26

The Met said she was seen alone on CCTV at about midday

The force said Eudine was reported missing from the Thamesmead Estate at 22:40

she is thought to be wearing light pink pyjamas.

That poor girl. I hope she is found quickly and social services gets involved.

She never stood a chance.

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 30/07/2024 06:26

Praying she’s found safe very quickly.

Motnight · 30/07/2024 06:28

I really hope that she is found soon.

The Thamesmead Estate is one of the very, very few places in London that I haven't felt safe in.

BeerForMyHorses · 30/07/2024 06:30

Bumping. So worrying. Praying she is found safe.

I really hope she’s hiding somewhere and found safe asap. I’m sure the police have all resources on finding her.

She must be so scared. Really hope she’s hiding somewhere safe and is found this morning 🙏

ToBeOrNotToBee · 30/07/2024 06:58

The CCTV of her playing alone is heartbreaking.
All those people just walking past a little girl alone in her pyjamas at midday and not giving a shit.

Poor thing.

I hope she's found safe. It's the same street as that little boy went missing from before he was pulled from the Thames a few months ago.

Zonder · 30/07/2024 07:01

That video is so sad.

Some parents don't deserve children.

I hope the poor baby is found, and helped to find a better life than the one she has been born into.

AndAllOurYesterdays · 30/07/2024 07:06

That video made my blood run cold. It's so unusual to see a small child completely alone like that

I'd hold off judgement for now.
How do you know her mum isn't a single parent working all hours and left her daughter in the care of a relative thinking she'd be safe.
Wait until we know all the facts.

Mystery2345 · 30/07/2024 07:09

Video in broad daylight, not reported missing until 2240. Shockingly sad. At least it was not cold overnight. Hope she is found very very soon and cared for.

Newsenmum · 30/07/2024 07:09

It terrifies me what children have to deal with when there’s no school :(

whatafaf · 30/07/2024 07:10

Is that the river behind her? So worrying that she has been gone so long through the heat yesterday. I hope she just tried to snuggle down somewhere and is found this morning.

The child was in her pj's, all day.

She wasn't reported missing untill nearly 11 pm at night. Last spotted, completely alone, at midday.

It's fairly obvious that noone gave a shit about her. I'll eat my house if the parent turns out to be even a hundredth of a fraction as caring or responsible as in your scenario.

I stand by what I said. I fervently hope she is found, protected and given a better life.

Perfect28 · 30/07/2024 07:20

I'm so shocked none of the people in the video stop the child. There's no way I would ignore a small child on their own. Wtf

Projectme · 30/07/2024 07:23

Last seen at midday, alone on CCTV...reported missing nearly 12 hours later??!!
I hope she is found safe and well 😔

cradtt · 30/07/2024 07:26

I have a 6 year old DD.
Absolutely horrifying.
I will try and reserve judgment on how she appears to be wandering around by herself in pyjamas, and wasn't reported for so long, until all details are released, but it sounds bloody awful.
