Christ, Lancashire police are going to be stretched, with EDL gatherings (refuse to call them ‘protests’) in four town/city centres. I’ve no doubt they’ll manage it but it’s going to be at the expense of normal policing across the region.

I've already walked 6.5k this morning! Such a beautiful walk in the damp air along the shoreline with my flask of coffee! There was a bunch of young lads/ teens come out to the field at 6am to play football. They were laughing and smiling. Me friend had her dog and there were lots of dog walkers and runners of all ages.

All felt peaceful and right with the world.

I cut down some tall / dead shrubbery yesterday so today I’m having a cracking open the fire pit to get rid of the rubbish. I’ll be in the garden all day cutting, burning, strumming, digging. It’s going to be ace.

Maybe try casting a few anti-EDL spells whilst you're burning stuff? Worth a try.

They better not come anywhere near my little corner of the country. But I’m open to some chanting and general warding off. Maybe some misfortune to befall anyone stupid enough to join in.
