... and so each day I'll be bringing you all the action. Today is the opening ceremony. There is plenty of entertainment. Here is the King's Drum and Bugle Band, led by Drum Major Jermaine Jacobs.

And that concludes today's Olympic coverage! Just a couple of typos, I mistyped two of the races as 2160mm instead of 2180, and one of the competitors I mistyped as Yarin instead of Yatin. For some reason it won't let me edit those!

@FuzzyPuffling I found the swimming pool tiles on the internet to print out. Then drew on the lane markings with coloured pencil, and used Playmo pavement pieces to make the pool edge!

Well done to all the competitors today! The length of the races made me smile! 😊
