It's time for the Olympic Games for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so each day I'll be bringing you all the action. Today is the opening ceremony. There is plenty of entertainment. Here is the King's Drum and Bugle Band, led by Drum Major Jermaine Jacobs.

@JewelleryCat was the closest! Today we have cycling.

In the road cycling Pavel is in the lead, followed by Hayden, Laurent, Tam, Sean and Enrico.

Hayden is catching Pavel up though!

Hayden has now overtaken Pavel and Tam is in 3rd position.

Oh no! Pavel has crashed.

An ambulance is soon on the scene.

Paramedics Mick and Erica come to his assistance.

I think Pavel's beard probably did not help him.

He looks only to have minor injuries, but they take him to hospital to be checked over just in case.

Meanwhile Hayden wins the race, Laurent is second and Tam 3rd.

Presenting the medals today is the Duchess of Waterbury.

The medallists are all very happy!

In the mountain biking Dietmar and Ingvar are doing well...

...but Nishant is in the lead!

The scenery is lovely!

Nishant wins gold, Dietmar silver and Ingvar bronze.

Here are Jade, Kimiko, Radhika, Mansi and Mererid competing in the women's event.

Kimiko has overtaken Jade and is now in the lead.

Kimiko is the winner!

So it's gold for Kimiko, silver for Jade and bronze for Radhika.

As well as cycling we have sport climbing today. The competitors are Torben, Kenzo, Zebedee and Darius.

Torben is first up.

He is doing quite well.

Next is Darius.
