Irish and am torn between thinking it's pretty unlikely England will win as Spain definitely have the edge, but also thinking that anything that gives a boost to the new Labour government is definitely better than the alternative.

A weird thing happened last night (Saturday). About 9:30pm I remembered that the final was in progress (clearly our household has little interest in football 😂).
On my laptop, I clicked on the BBC website and found a link for the game. It showed England leading 1-0 with about 10 minutes to go.
About 15 minutes later I went back to it and refreshed - nothing there.
Tried on my phone. No update on the game either. I refreshed multiple times and was convinced my phone had frozen (it does sometimes).
I didn't see or hear any news bulletins until this morning, when I realised that the final hadn't been played yet!
Don't know what to make of it.
Just wanted to record this somewhere, in case that's how it turns out - you read it here first!
