It's horrible to watch - and the way Trump is ridiculing Biden confirms what we know about Trumps character.

He needs to step down but also very important for US voters to remember that he does have a whole team behind him so you can still vote Democrat and know government will be safe!

No it absolutely doesn't .and I agree he probably should step back/away it's a complex situation but people are acting and responding like he is a danger to the world. I mean George Clooney waded in the other day. If Trump can be president and run again that's a lot more frightening than a bumbling old man.

Those saying that there is a whole team behind him, that is true but sometimes presidents have to unilaterally make vital decisions under time constraints.

The ultimate one is nuclear attack. If a warhead is spotted coming towards the U.S, the president would have 6 minutes to get to the situation room (doubt he could even do that part), review the intelligence and decide whether to fire America’s nukes back.

Less extreme situations might be the response to a 9/11 like attack.

You just can’t have a gaga president.

It is a 4 year term. Can anyone imagine Biden capable in even a year, given the rate of decline?!

He won’t be the candidate. The only question is how quickly this is recognised. On betting sites, Trump is the favourite, followed by Kamala, then Biden. Says it all.

He is commander in chief and he is the only one who can launch the weapons though.He is the o ly one with part of the code necessary.If something were heading for America there is 15 mi utes to respond, and it would probably take lo ger than that fir him to wake up.

This is not a good look for the Democrats and they really need to win this election - America is going backwards in terms of women's rights and a Trump presidency is disastrous.
But the Democrats are kind of asking for it, since they seem incapable of managing this situation and forcing Biden to withdraw. How is it that the potentially senile person is the only one who gets to decide whether he stays or goes?

Honestly America, sort your shit out - in a country that size I struggle to understand how they've ended up with a straight choice between the odious Trump and the cognitively declined Biden!

I think Trump would be very bad news on many, many levels. For a very long time, I thought taking digs at Biden's age and ability was just a cheap shot but NOW... it's impossible to ignore.

He is the leader, he is the one making the ultimate decisions and he is the one the US people will be choosing (or not). He needs to step aside.

New news such as a very recent medical diagnosis could give him a dignified out.
