The default positions appears to be right wing politicians should be in power - anything else indicates a failure by voters to understand the issues OR a fault in the system.
The natural order has been deposed by the stupid electorate. It is centre and left wing voters fault that the far right is on the march - look what you made us do, why cant you just do as you are told.
I posted quite a bit last week (and for months before) about the overcrowding in prisons. Having zero places in prisons is like having no available hospital beds - a failure of policy planning with dire consequences. Both have been extensively warned about for many years. It means the legal system can't function.
Such is the crisis Labour will now have to follow Conservative plans for early release to create space. There is no other way to handle this problem and have a functioning court system.
But the media are now spinning that as Labour's policy - rather than a very necessary emergency measure caused by chronic and predicted overcrowding.
Its not just shoddy journalism, it is a clear attempt to mislead.
