I was feeling chilled about the results until I just got home and started catching up on the news/thread/social media and now I've got the collywobbles!

May not stay up super-late but if I go to bed, I'll probably be waking up every hour to check my phone!

DS' friend reported canvassers on our street as she got home.
They didn't dare come to my house, I have not cut the grass since March because insects so they probably assume I'm not their demographic. Also friend gave them a death stare.

I'm always wary of betting odds and reality. (Given recent events, can't think why). You could relieve a lot of Brexiteers of a lot of mullah if you bet them the EU didn't ban bendy bananas. But it wouldn't reflect the truth. Just their truth.

A pigeon has just flown full force into our bay window and given me a big fright . It's a testament to the strength of the double glazed unit that it didn't shatter (although the old Victorian rippled very drafty sheet glass didn't reflect in the same way). It's left a cartoon style round circle with its wings forming two lines on either side of the circle, a wee patch at the top for the beak and another wee patch for its legs. It's difficult to see in a photo - this is the best I could do.

The whole Conservative election has been cartoon-like in its incompetence - and they've flown full force into oblivion

I have just had a catch up today. I am at the count tonight so should be trying to have a nap but am feeling a bit anxious. I want it be 10pm now!!
Our polling station was really busy 30 mins ago and then DH took DS straight after we got home and the police are there directing traffic as it is so busy.

I think some polling stations are looking busy because of the ID rules

I'm stressed to fuck. Due to be going on holiday Sunday and DS2s Irish passport won't be here on time. Will go to the British passport office first thing in the morning and see how fast they can do me one.😢😢😢
