It's easy to pronounce dreich 
As long as you pronounce both a slightly rolled "r" and the soft "ch" (as in the soft ch from loch ) that is soft on the back of the throat.
d - rr - ee - ch
Easy 
My South African Dad who apparently kept his accent I couldn't hear it for the 60 years until he died could even say it - and used it regularly (we do live in the West of Scotland after all
)
My personal favourite Scottish word is to thole (soft "th") which means to bear [something] with reluctance (the verb always has to have an object - even if it is just it )
So bringing it back to the topic of these threads: the country will no longer have to thole the Conservatives in Government after Thursday
