I've heard people talk like that. I don't think they'd actually shoot an immigrant but I do think they like to make their peers think they could.

I'm fairly old and I remember the virulent anti-black and anti- Pakistani of the 70s. All that's changed is that, these days, it's virulent anti-asylum seeker and/or anti-Muslim. The arguments made, the vehemence, the underlying threats of violence, the fears... they're all the same.

We know it isn't - for a start, Parker wasn't the only person making racist and offensive remarks in the footage; there was also George Jones who they can't deny is a Reform member - he organises events for Farage.

There is an odd thing though where people who are outwardly and publicly racist, will repeatedly tell people they aren’t racist. Probably the lack of intelligence, so they think others are as thick as they are.

Farage has always been a racist I just googled 'Farage racist' and there are 30 pages of news stories going back to him cozying up to the EDL in 2013.

If anyone is surprised at all by Reform party having strong links to racism then they've been walking around for 20 years with their eyes closed and fingers in their ears whenever Farage has been mentioned.

Anyone voting for Reform UK are making the decision to tolerate that, probably while saying things like 'I'm not a racist but......'

The guy is a bit part actor, but he wasn't setting Reform up, he really does support them and want them to win. Anyway, bit part actors can be racists too, just look at Lozza Fox.

The initial Channel 4 report identified George Jones and his position in Reform. He's the charmer referring to gay people as nonces and wetting himself in delight at the prospect of Reform replacing police with paramilitaries.

I agree. Sadly many Reform voters will applaud it. I have no time for the Tories or for Sunak but my sympathies are with him on this. I believe him when he said how hurt he was.

Boris made racist statements - the letterbox being one of the more notorious - but usually with some layer of vaguely plausible deniability. I can’t really imagine him referring to 'f**g p**s' or talking about shooting the residents of Bradford or denying oxygen to a person of colour in an ambulance.
