I know I’m hugely behind the curve on all this but teenage daughters are fickle. Can someone just confirm I have the following correct?

1. We don’t have a ‘code’ and I presume we can’t get one now.
2. Even if some turn up on Ticketmaster, I wouldn’t be able to buy them without a code
3. Axs is the other official site and you don’t need a code to buy them there
4. Stubhub, Viagogo and people on Facebook should not be trusted and don’t use them
5. Twickets would be safe to buy, should some appear
6. I’m more likely to marry Henry Cavill than I am getting tickets now

If you did manage to marry Henry Cavill, he might have some contacts who could get you on a vip list. Maybe. But failing that, you’ve pretty much nailed it unless you’re willing to remortgage your house.

I also don't understand all this last minute angst and handwringing over tickets for DD's!!!

Lots of people got a code and got tickets. Some of those that didn't recently got a code as production seats were released. But you had to be quick. Twickets is officially recognised but as it's face value or less people who want to profit can't sell there. StubHub/Viagogo is for those who wish to profit/scam. AXS might have some but you have to be quick. But you are a year out. That's how long ago they went on sale and no one with daughters is parting with theirs

I mean a year ago she didn’t care about Taylor Swift and now she will absolutely DIE if she doesn’t go.

She’s been told she can’t, that people had to buy an album 18 months ago to be in with a chance etc.

But I thought I’d find out what the deal was. I’ve said nothing to her about it.

I got in with a Viagogo ticket but you have to fully expect it not to work.

Like the Second Coming. Her name on anything would guarantee huge sales but not as tho she is the latest thing. Just this tour has been built up and it looks like it exceeded superlatives from what I've seen.

Did you register for a code in June 2023? If so you would have been allocated ticketmaster or AXS. People who weren't lucky enough to get tickets a year ago are now trickling off the waiting list to be able to access the last standing or restricted view seated tickets. I finally came off the AXS list last Tuesday and went to opening night on Friday. She's got another five nights in August so if you registered there's still time.

Ah. Well. Oddly enough, my dd was obsessed last year - to the extent we have extraordinarily good vip tickets - and is now meh. I’m considering selling on ticketmaster. So don’t give up hope; I’m sure others are in the same position!

Taylor swift is like costa i dont get the hype.

In the nicest way possible, the Midnights presale was the way for actual swifties to get tickets. It was free, incredibly easy, and meant me and my DD who have been hardcore swifties for over 10 years could get multiple Eras tickets very very easily. The midnights presale meant genuine swifties could get tickets. If she didn't even care about Taylor a year ago, there are people who deserve tickets more and they are probably the people who got them. I'm sorry but it's the truth I hope your DD sticks behind her though and becomes a huge Swiftie, it's the greatest music fandom in the world , and she'll definitely be able to see her in the future! You can absolutely try and get resale tickets too but they're certainly not guaranteed to work.
