What drink do you have with a full English?

Went out for brunch today and had a full English and realised I was struggling when asked what drink I wanted with it. I ended up getting an iced latte as it was a hot day and we were outside.

What drinks do you guys go for?

I usually do an orange juice but do love a flavoured hot/ iced coffee aswell.

Builders tea

Apple juice during, coffee after

Yorkshire Tea, obviously, like any reasonable person. The red, not the gold & brewed properly for 5 minutes until it’s really strong. If the spoon doesn’t stand up on its own, you’re doing it wrong.

NewName24 · 21/06/2024 00:31

A mug of proper strong tea, obviously.

I mean, if it is some sort of eat / drink what you want buffet, I'd probably have some fruit juice as well, but I more often have a cooked breakfast for lunch, in a caff. Then it is tea.

Cafe late. But the other day I had a Pepsi with mine because I was really thirsty for something cold !

Pennyplant19 · 21/06/2024 00:50

Anything other than tea is just wrong

Yorkshire tea if home, a cup of tea if eaten out or a Diet Coke, my 2 favourite drinks.

QueenBitch666 · 21/06/2024 01:01

I'd have a murder free full English with filter black coffee. Because I'm not a psychopath. You're welcome Grin

I'm actually surprised so many people will have a hot drink with a fry up Shock I would like a Diet Coke or Pepsi max. Maybe an orange or apple juice if at a hotel.

See, I can’t imagine having a fizzy drink with it!

Somebody hasn't RTFT Blush

This is very impolite and untrue. Please try not to bring this sort of attitude to threads like this. It’s not nice

21ZIGGY · 21/06/2024 08:47

Shandy or a pint

mondaytosunday · 21/06/2024 09:43

Yea. Maybe oj as well, but tea is essential unless it's a latte!

mondaytosunday · 21/06/2024 09:44

Oops that should be 'tea' not 'yea'

DistinguishedSocialCommentator · 21/06/2024 09:45

Fooshufflewickjbannanapants · 21/06/2024 09:47

Pretty sure the tea police will be out to correct your deeply disturbing move. ALWAYS tea.

CeeceeBloomingdale · 21/06/2024 09:48

Orange juice

Maddy70 · 21/06/2024 09:50

Dontcallmescarface · 21/06/2024 10:16

Coffee...tea is the devil's drink.

GasPanic · 21/06/2024 10:26

A mug of coffee or tea.

But not poncy coffee. it should be nescafe instant or something like that with plenty of milk.
