What drink do you have with a full English?

Went out for brunch today and had a full English and realised I was struggling when asked what drink I wanted with it. I ended up getting an iced latte as it was a hot day and we were outside.

What drinks do you guys go for?

I usually do an orange juice but do love a flavoured hot/ iced coffee aswell.

Tap water and a glass of juice or something like an elderflower presse. Might have a tea, coffee or hot choc afterwards

Off to jail with you.

ScrambledSmegs · 20/06/2024 23:05

Tea.

I prefer black coffee usually but tea is the only appropriate drink with a fry up.

TheYearOfSmallThings · 20/06/2024 23:06

Tea.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 20/06/2024 23:07

Orange juice and then coffee.

I’ve never had iced coffee with breakfast, @user28396 - but I like the idea - thank you!

So I'm definitely the only person who has ever had a caramel iced latte with mine!

Shock

Always builders tea.
Tea with 2 sugars and just a little too much milk, not way too much milks, but just a little too much.

TheFallenMadonna · 20/06/2024 23:10

Bucks Fizz.
I mean, only really at Christmas, but it is the best.

JurassicClark · 20/06/2024 23:11

Orange juice and water with it.

Strong coffee after it’s been cleared away.

Topseyt123 · 20/06/2024 23:13

Tea for me.

TEDPIEridiculousness2024 · 20/06/2024 23:14

Orange juice and tea!

BobbyBiscuits · 20/06/2024 23:15

Either a cappuccino or a full sugar coke.
Then usually a Guinness afterwards, lol.

I work in the criminal justice sector and this is accurate.
Also s.4 having anything but tea to drink with egg and soldiers , mitigation available for those under 16

I knew it
6 cups of builders for me

Olanabunny · 20/06/2024 23:16

Apple juice. Can't stand hot drinks and drinking them with food is just weird

soundsys · 20/06/2024 23:16

Tea!

Thirdsummerofourdiscontent · 20/06/2024 23:18

Orange juice, only because I would have had coffee before leaving the house.

Abouttimeforanamechange · 20/06/2024 23:18

Huge mug of builder's tea

Yep. Not just tea, but a big mug of it.

Can't stand the piddly little cups they give you in some cafes.

dudsville · 20/06/2024 23:20

It has to be tea, and lots of it!

AnneLovesGilbert · 20/06/2024 23:20

Coffee, the proper hot kind, and water. What you describe is a pudding not a drink. Didn’t it make your food taste weird?

Does no one here drink water?

boobleblingo · 20/06/2024 23:20

Coffee, orange juice, bloody mary

Bekindmyarse · 20/06/2024 23:21

Builder’s tea. Yorkshire preferably.

MrsClatterbuck · 20/06/2024 23:23

Tea with the meal or an Americano when finished. Only have orange juice when it's in a hotel and that's usually to wash down medication and also if in a hotel love it when they give you a pot of coffee and lots of refills that's if the coffee is good.
Here in NI it's called an Ulster Fry and includes fried soda bread and potato bread. potato bread with a poached egg on top. Heaven that lovely yolk soaking into the bread

My dh quite often asks them to change the wee piddly cup for a mug

CowgirlGunburger · 20/06/2024 23:25

Orange juice with it, coffee straight after

Buttermilky · 20/06/2024 23:26
