Does anyone else get annoyed with Sara Cox?

She says things in a very strange way. I don't mean her accent. She sort of snuffles and mangles words. Or is it just me?

Threads like this remind me why I haven't bothered to fix my car radio.

There's another thread going about this and the breakfast show being irritating as she's covering for Scott Mills.

I love her. She really makes me laugh and I think she is warm and engaging with the callers. Horses for courses. No need for the two nasty threads about her that are running.You don’t HAVE to listen to her.

Love Sara Cox!! So witty and on the ball and great with callers/guests. Zoe Ball seemed very dull to me - too nicely nice and boring. Can’t stand Scott Mills or Vernon - both make me cringe and seem to try too hard where Sara seems really relaxed and natural. Liza and Romesh are really good too.

I'm really missing her too - she was great on rhe commute home. I'm not sure who the person covering her slot is, I don't recognise her.

I only really listen to Sara’s on a Friday and quite enjoy All Requests Friday. But my god some of the interviews with listeners are cringe.

I am enjoying Sara on breakfast more than her usual slot. I do quite like Ellie Taylor too, though not sure on the obsession Radio 2 has with comedians. Are there no real DJs they can get.

I’ll admit I hardly ever listen to the radio. Only really in the car.

Do people still listen to the radio at home? If so, I like the sound of that, maybe I will do that.

Haven’t heard Sara Cox in years but used to find her funny.

Heard Rylan on the radio a while ago and thought he was great. Brilliant with the listeners, funny, authentic and just very relaxed.

You get so many of these “so called” celebs these days with absolutely no discernable talent, but I thought Rylan came across as very confident and capable.

I agree, I love Sara cox! And you’re right about all the others too. I don’t mind vernon in tv but he’s so annoying on radio. Oh and paddy is about as funny as thrush.

I really like Sara. I think she’s warm and funny. I like most of them to be honest. Like Zoe, Scott and Vernon. Love the Jeremy Vine show purely because I love the contrasting stories, going from a speaking to a lady who lost her whole extended family in a freak sinkhole incident to Terry on the allotment to asking ‘should pylons be painted blue?’

Not so keen on Paddy, like Michael Ball and indifferent about Dame Elaine (have them mentioned that yet??).

Love Rylan the most, he’s warm, funny, intelligent and I adore the karaoke he does with guests.

I also like Richie. Love a Black Country accent and I think he’s funny. Good guy too in my opinion.
