Planning DS first proper party he will be turning 5 and having a whole class party. I am looking for some ideas for party bag fillers that have been a hit with kids ages 3-6.

Not looking to include books, seeds or bubbles but any other ideas greatly appreciated.

I hate party bags, there always full of cheap tat that no one really wants it needs. I decided to hire and Ice Cream Van to come near the end of my sons 5th party instead and everyone got an Ice Cream

I’m with PP, they are wasteful, I would just bin them and the contents as soon as my kids came home from a party. I just used to buy sweet cones from someone local on Facebook, bought cheap footballs from home and bargain once aswell.

although my SD went to a pool party recently and then got little kid sunglasses and mini beach ball which she played with loads in the garden afterwards

We got mini colouring books, crayons, a pack of haribo and some Bluey themed stickers for my dd’s 5th birthday this week.

Best party bag I did was a mini football and some haribo! I know you said no books but I love this site for no.plastic tat www.secretbookshop.co.uk

I've always been a fan of reusable curly straws.
I also have had great success with inflatable guitars or beach balls in the past.

I'm a bit worried about searching flick a chicken 😂 sounds like it could lead to some very interesting search results. 😆😆

I do not recommend flick a chicken, it leaves oil stains on the walls and ruins paintwork. Speaking from experience 😬

Glowsticks always a hit 😊

If you are ok with temu they have loads of great stuff that kids like but isn't plastic tat like keyrings, mini puzzles and all manner of fidget toys.

I love when adults are like don't do party bags cos they are tat. I hate party bags but kids love them. We went to a party that didn't have them and the disappointment was extreme!

My ds went to a few parties this year and one of the party bags contained a writing tablet, little torch, stacker pen, liquid bubbler (had to look that one up!) and a few other bits and bobs.

Very unusual but he was most chuffed and they are still going strong!

My almost 4yo has enjoyed the following from party bags
•play doh min tub
•slime
•temp tattoo
•mini stamps
•stickers

and the usual bubbles, sweets, balloons always goes down a treat

Flying tiger is a good source for party bags - lots of things like pens, stickers, washi tape, straws, silly glasses/hats, balloons.

Best things I ever bought for party bags was a bunch of vintage superhero comics for 50p each. Perfect for my then 4yo Spiderman themed party.
