I can hear 16yr old DS belting out Queen's "Radio Gaga". This makes me very happy, it's my favourite song.

No idea why he's singing it SO LOUDLY though. The neighbours are probably wondering the same...😄

Nada, well apart from the TV. Then again I am a bit deaf

RabbitsRock · 06/06/2024 23:44

Escape To The Country ( East Midlands) on the tv.

ObliviousCoalmine · 06/06/2024 23:47

Tinnitus

PickAChew · 06/06/2024 23:54

Tinnitus for me, too.
And a buzzing light.
The odd car passing.

LaceyLou82 · 06/06/2024 23:55

My own breathing about to put headspace on and go to bed!

LilacCatt · 06/06/2024 23:58

This is so relaxing, reading these posts.

I can hear my eyelashes rubbing against my pillow case as I blink...

I can hear rainwater dripping off the rooves outside, the rain already stopped...

Goodnight all...

TheFormidableMrsC · 07/06/2024 00:00

Gurgles from my fridge/freezer, a plane (I'm under the Luton flight path) and an owl.

wormshock · 07/06/2024 00:02

My cat meowing loudly

25thCenturyQuaker · 07/06/2024 00:03

Another tinnitus sufferer here, a high- pitched whistle in my left ear. I'll put my bedside radio on quietly in a mo, which always helps. It won't wake my husband, who is snoring quietly next to me, as he's very deaf without his hearing aids in.

CouldNotStayAway · 07/06/2024 00:03

The clock ticking...surprisingly quiet right now.

giddy90 · 07/06/2024 00:04

My toddler snoring

CentrifugalBumblePuppy · 07/06/2024 01:17

DH snoring. He has a deviated septum and sounds like a chainsaw.

Counting the seconds until 7am on Wednesday when he has his septoplasty.

Hopefully, and for the first time in the (nearly) 30 years we’ve been together, he will not only breath through his right nostril, but I can slowly drift off to the sounds of my guffing dog and not DH and his impression of Ivor the bloody Engine (for all of us born in the 60s & 70s).

Pixiesgirl · 07/06/2024 01:20

Oh god i revise my prior statement, I got that frigging Eminem song stuck in my head Sad

DilemmaDelilah · 07/06/2024 06:35

I woke up half an hour ago and since then I've only heard the birds in the garden. Mainly blackbirds, but also a nightingale and the pair of collared doves that are resident in the trees behind us, plus lots of random chirping that I can't recognise. I have my window shut at the moment as it's a bit nippy, if it was open I would hear a lot more.

BingoMarieHeeler · 07/06/2024 06:37

DH congratulating DD for pooing in the potty 😄

And birdsong 😄

ShiftySquirrel · 07/06/2024 06:45

Just birds. It's a beautiful sound.
Soon it will be all the usual before school chaos so it's nice to have the calm before the storm.

SheepAndSword · 07/06/2024 06:47

Hum of the oven now (vege sausages are in) and the cars are becoming more frequent.

Soon it will be the waste truck

Hyperion100 · 07/06/2024 06:51

The roar of all the cars, vans and trucks using my road as a rat run.

RedRobyn2021 · 07/06/2024 06:54

Birds

In particular the wood pigeons cooing

ManilowBarry · 07/06/2024 07:00

Birdsong.

StirlingMallory · 07/06/2024 07:00

Wood pigeons too! There's one on top of the chimney above my bedroom fireplace. He sounds German. Keeps asking "wo wohnst du?" which is ridiculous because I obviously live right here.

Fooshufflewickjbannanapants · 07/06/2024 07:03
