I can hear 16yr old DS belting out Queen's "Radio Gaga". This makes me very happy, it's my favourite song.

No idea why he's singing it SO LOUDLY though. The neighbours are probably wondering the same...😄

Our tiny (soon to be rehomed) kittens hissing and growling at their much older siblings from another litter. They are hilarious when trying to be scary and have little to no impact on the aforementioned bigger kittens. They absolutely terrify the dog though who is 25 times their size and a complete wimp

OOh . . . please can I join you? My neighbour is still shouting and I know from experience I won't be able to sleep until she calls it a day! I've been to a funeral today and, just after I got home I had a phone call to tell me that one of my friends is seriously ill. I feel mentally exhausted and just want to go to bed and sleep . . . . .

Ooh upstairs's telly has gone off.

The bar at the back of my apartment closing. It’s generally quite noisy but is absolutely silent by midnight. (Am in Central Europe in a big tourist city.)

Air conditioning unit humming quietly, kids laughing on their way to the park after school, helicopters whirring in the distance, boats tooting their horns. I don’t think I could live in the countryside!

Just the dishwasher. Can sometimes hear the fox who lives behind our shed crunching about on the gravel down the side of the house, but not tonight.

The fan in the downstairs toilet. DD16 seems to have the ability to know when I’m just falling asleep then bam…off she trots to the loo (below our bedroom) and the fan starts up as soon as she turns the light on 🙄

My ears are ringing, just back from seeing Gary Newman live. He finished with Cars and Are Friends Electric. Great gig.

Pretty much nothing ... on a boat on the Norfolk Broads moored in a quiet place. There was birdsong at dusk and there will be at dawn, I should be getting to sleep.
