What is the best tv show you’ve ever watched

Just that really. It could be recent, could be donkeys years old.

More recently, I loved The Crowded Room (which got absolutely trashed by the critics), and Severance

A couple that I haven’t heard much about but thought were excellent:

Halt and Catch Fire - a Mad Men-ish series about young computer programmers and engineers working in the early days of home computing. Much more engrossing than it sounds!

Enlightened - a Mike White series long before White Lotus, with Laura Dern as a very confused young woman trying to be spiritual while working for a sinister company (and back living with her mum, Diane Ladd).

Halt and Catch Fire was excellent (until it turned weird). Wondrously absorbing.

And the Airstream out in a field. 😍 So very different to and yet the same as Vinnie’s beaten up caravan in a forest in Brassic. (Another second tier classic.)

What was the name of the show about two women in Victorian England investigating (supernatural) assaults / murders and rescuing and employing survivors?

It was only in the final episode that we were shown the bigger picture …

Was over lockdown, I think. I’m still waiting for another season.

Oh yes! The Airstream! Blissful.
