‘Think of a Number’ with Johnny Ball
It’s one of those programs which have launched thousands of careers by getting kids to love maths. And of course Johnny Ball is an absolute legend ❤️

Prison break season 1 and 2

Desperate housewives first 3 seasons

The tudors with Jonathan rhys meyers although the truth to history is a bit sketchy

I watched itvs bad girls from the 2000s about a year ago, some of it was very dark but I think the show was really ahead of its time in some ways especially watching in 2020s!

And spartacus, quite gory but the storylines are epic

This thread is really making me want to watch Dark but I'm really unsophisticated and hate subtitles?! Do I stand a chance?!

I dubbed and still really enjoyed it. Was vilified by my whole family for watching it that way. When I rewatch would do subtitles. You’re not going to watch once so do what’s best for you

I'd have to say Game of Thrones. I avoided it for years and scoffed at my colleague obsessing after every episode. In my head I was thinking I'm not watching a show about dragons. I usually like gritty dramas like Line of duty, happy valley etc.
Then in lockdown I had nothing to watch and gave it a go. I watched the first series and was like ok this is alright, and then I think by about series 2 or maybe even 3 I was completely hooked. I know the last series wasn't as good but I didn't feel the disappointment as much as I hadn't waited ages to watch it, I just binged it on about a month
