Madeleine McCann new evidence - BREAKING NEWS

PrettyFlyforaMaiTai · 05/06/2024 18:58

A Senior German detective has told a court that investigators had found emails on a Hotmail account used by Christian Brueckner that linked him directly to the Madeleine McCann case.

However, the detective was unable to share details of the evidence as it was 'related to the killing' of Madeleine. Brueckner, the prime suspect, is currently on trial in Germany for unrelated sex crimes.

The USB stick they found buried at his property wrapped up with a dead dog is pretty telling, I believe they've also found chat logs with another pedophile in Brighton where he references taking a blonde girl and the initials MM.. scary really, the monsters we have in this world.

The evidence is that the McCanns found that someone had been in the children's bedroom and opened the window and shutter, their daughter was missing and has never been located (so not wandered off) and someone was seen carrying a little girl in pyjamas.

kerstina · 07/06/2024 11:42

I think it was a tragic accident not murder and for some reason there was a cover up. Cuddle cat washed ( May have had vital evidence) sniffer dogs alerted to cadaver . I read Kates book and I remember thinking they must be innocent of any wrong doing as they would not seek out the Pope but Gerry Mcann did feel hot and ill in the heat so I wasn’t so sure. Just my thoughts and although I haven’t read them Nick van der leek has written books on the Macaans.

The McCanns were just used to living their privileged white, middle class lifestyle. Either Madeleine was abducted or she suffered a tragic accident in the apartment. Either way, her parents were selfish and cavalier about their children's safety in a way that is incomprehensible to many parents, but is equally acceptable to many others. But my God they have been horrifically punished for their lax judgement and will never know a moment's peace again.

Yes and the thing about it is, that all of the other doctors in that group did the same thing with their children too. One of the other parents’s dd had a tummy bug if I remember correctly. And they went out in the evening and left her even though she was vomiting and had diarrhoea.

again and again, where is the abduction evidence? you still can't answer can you.

I think @prh47bridge probably knows a lot more about evidence, legal matters, interpretation of laws etc than you do, so I'd suggest it might be an idea to stop making such an embarrassing fool of yourself.

Originally, the UK media reporting stated that the shutters on Madeleines bedroom had been forced open from the outside. But since then, there is doubt about whether this happened. Because people living in the area stated that even just opening the shutters made an horrendous noise. And the shutters in fact weren’t broken.

Kate’s recollection is always that there was a puff of wind blowing the curtains which made her realise the window was open now, where it hadn’t been before.

This is an anonymous forum - nobody really knows if anyone is who they say they are. And I am getting tired of seeing people using this tactic to bully others.

You use the words "put themselves under scrutiny" again.

But haven't they been doing JUST that for the last 17 years?
They must be the only guilty people in history who fight to keep the story in the press and in the minds of the public, when it would be far better for them, surely, if they were guilty of a crime, to allow the story to die a natural death and then slink off into the shadows.

As I said above, the claims of some of those "investigators" are utterly outlandish and based on quack science. Richard Hall is a tin-foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist twit. There's "trying to get to the truth" and making completely farcical claims.
Saying Madeleine "must" have been thrown into the sea because someone used the words "on an even keel", and "keel" is a part of a boat, and boats go on the sea etc etc. There's no science to it, and I don't think its right or fair be tried in the court of public opinion for using specific words that mean nothing in particular but to conspiracy theorists looking for "answers", they will see what they want to see to affirm their beliefs - confirmation bias.

Exactly. Which other people who've fought to keep the story investigated and in the press have later been found to be responsible for the death? Can we have examples of when this has happened?

BertieBotts · 07/06/2024 12:41

I can't understand how anybody could possibly call CB "that poor man" - I've no idea if he abducted Madeleine but the things he has actually been convicted of and there are evidence of him doing/saying are horrific to say the least.

Onomatofear · 07/06/2024 12:45

Mitchell Quy, who killed his wife Lynsey and then invited a TV crew to follow him around and record him and he even went on This Morning.

It is indeed. But the aforementioned poster has always been very open and upfront about his area of specialisation and helpful to many posters seeking legal advice over the years. (Which often includes telling them that MN is an anonymous forum and they should seek legal advice in the outside world)
I'd still trust his interpretation over the sick conspiracy theorists that have been spewing their bile about the McCanns over the past nigh on 20 years.

I'm not sure the Ian Huntley example is making quite the point you want here...

SpudleyLass · 07/06/2024 12:58

The drugging allegation. Didn't that arise from the Portugese police not recognising Calpol?

Also, even as a GP (Kate) and cardiologist (Gerry), they can't just take medications from their workplaces. These things are audited.

No, I was looking for examples like the McCanns where people have pressed for a case to be investigated for many years and tried to keep it in the public eye and later been found to be responsible for the death.

I meant the fact that they are criticised endlessly for leaving the children unattended where others aren’t.
Regarding the police chief, I read his book and thought he lacks reasoning skills and jumps to odd conclusions. I think he is a disgrace for writing the book.

My DD is the same age as MM...
At the time there was a similar product to Calpol on the market... exept it was more potent and made children drowsy... it later was re marketed for 6+ children and as far as I know is now only available through a pharmacy if at all.

It was pretty potent, I only gave the stuff to DD once as I didn't like it.
I can see the temptation of using such a product on holiday or for a good night's sleep. Don't forget, the twins were only babies, so might not have been sleeping through the night at this stage.

I don't think the drugging allegations are as far fetched as some posters make us believe.

It could even answer the question how someone can take a 3y old without making much noise... or leaving little evidence...

Lying at first to save oneself and joining in a search are not the same as campaigning for 17 years. Anyone who was responsible for a crime would slink into obscurity and be glad they got away with it after initially putting on an act.

Richard Satchwell. Or are you ignoring the examples that do meet your criteria?
For 7 years he was on TV asking everyone to look for his missing wife. The guards spent millions searching for her. And he didn't slink into obscurity, he only stopped because his wife's skeleton was found under his floorboards.

HootyMcBooby · 07/06/2024 13:49

Sorry, many of those examples are nothing like the McCann case.
Those were people who the police KNEW were guilty and coerced into making public appeals so that they would trip themselves up and give the police more evidence.
There are numerous documentaries about how police encourage immediate family members/friends whom they already highly suspect, into engaging with the media and doing heartfelt "appeals" when all along they are privately gathering additional evidence against them (Mick Philpott, Karen Mathews, Baden-Clay, Chris Watts, just off the top of my head to name a few).
Few of the cases are comparable to campaigning for 17 years in highly public fashion.
What on earth would a guilty person gain from continually bringing the case back to the public mind and the attention of internet "sleuths"?

I deliberately edited their names from this to make it about the principle rather than these particular parents, but unfortunately this happens only too often:

Jonathon Dean
Paul Winwright
Stephen Macshane
Ashley Wilkinson
Omah Ahmed
Samianaz Siddiqui
Richard Archer
Matthew Cornish
Michael Kennedy .....
