Madeleine McCann new evidence - BREAKING NEWS

PrettyFlyforaMaiTai · 05/06/2024 18:58

A Senior German detective has told a court that investigators had found emails on a Hotmail account used by Christian Brueckner that linked him directly to the Madeleine McCann case.

However, the detective was unable to share details of the evidence as it was 'related to the killing' of Madeleine. Brueckner, the prime suspect, is currently on trial in Germany for unrelated sex crimes.

Reading an article from September 2007. With what we know now, it's chilling to think that Brückner could've been inside the bedroom at the time. I can't imagine how Gerry must feel to this day knowing his gut was telling him something.

"The McCanns, both 39, were dining with friends only yards from their Algarve apartment in Praia da Luz when Gerry went to check on the children on the night of May 3.

He entered the apartment at 9.05pm and saw Madeleine asleep in her bed with twins Sean and Amelie, two, in cots on either side of her.

But, mysteriously, the door to the bedroom door was open.

Although Gerry thought nothing of it at the time, he has told friends he is now sure he previously shut it.

Our source said: "When he went in he saw Madeleine was asleep but the bedroom door was slightly ajar.

He thought 'That's odd' because he'd left it firmly closed. But the children were asleep. So he just closed the door again and came out at about 9.10pm.

Initially he thought Madeleine might have got up and gone to the toilet, or to get a drink or something.

Now he thinks the abductor was in there hiding".

the single most compelling bit of evidence that they have nothing whatsoever to do with it is the fact that they've relentlessly publicised it over the past two decades.
If they'd been connected with it in anyway, surely they'd have eventually allowed it all to go away?

🙄OMG are you for real?

DaoineSidhe · 07/06/2024 08:13

I can't understand, sorry @changeison. But to keep control of a situation you stay involved, even over compensate years and years, but I am not saying they were involved, but I wouldn't interpret everything the way you have.

OchonAgusOchonOh · 06/06/2024 22:47

And yet here you are rehashing the same tired arguments that nobody should be rehashing the point that the parents were negligent after 17 years 🤷‍♀️

And still you don’t take the hint.

Mirabai · 07/06/2024 08:16

OchonAgusOchonOh · 06/06/2024 22:49

And yet here you are, not seeing that other posters think different points are important, and flogging away at the other dead horse

Oh I can see they think they’re important, novel and exciting, I’m just pointing out they’re wrong.

First time I've seen or heard it anywhere is this thread, tonight

Great. You learn a new thing every day, and this can be yours.

again and again, where is the abduction evidence? you still can't answer can you.

What would evidence of an abduction be? Dropped gloves, a random note, a scribbled plan on a screwed up piece of paper

Its perfectly obvious that things can happen without there being a trail left behind

What is the evidence that the parents were involved? Actual evidence, not dogs it open car boots etc

SpudleyLass · 07/06/2024 08:47

DaoineSidhe · 07/06/2024 07:00

actually, going to leave it here, because the thread is just going to be taken down and any bit of truth or ripping the fabric of the media reporting is a good thing. Nobody has been able to answer my question, as I expected. Anyone of a decent IQ knows what happened anyway, not a mystery.

''Anyone of a decent IQ knows what happened anyway, not a mystery.''

Then surely you could have saved the taxpayer millions over the past 17 years...

When a child is missing and doesn't turn up again quickly, it is overwhelmingly likely that they have been abducted. To give some figures, there are roughly 1,100 cases of children being abducted each year in the UK, as against fewer than 15 being murdered by parents or step-parents. Of course, for most of the murders the child is never declared missing. It is therefore completely wrong to demand evidence that a child has been abducted and say that, in the absence of such evidence, the child has been murdered by their parents. That is the reverse of the truth. If you want to argue that the child has been murdered by their parents, it is you who needs proof.

Sadly, there are some on this thread who will continue to believe that the McCanns murdered their daughter or were complicit in her murder even if Brueckner confesses and her body is found buried under his patio.

How do you accidentally drug someone?

I'll be very clear that I'm not saying this is what happened because we simply can't know, but one way would be for both parents to have given her a sedating drug not realising the other had already done the same

Such a scenario may not just lead to the child's death; it could also be career ending, and as we've seen too often cases the primary instinct with some medics is to cover up

MaryMaryVeryContrary · 07/06/2024 09:36

I suggest you all read Kate McCann’s book. It accounts for basically every single minute of the holiday, including the afternoon/evening of the abduction. The Met have been investigating this for years and I’m sure if there was an anomaly they would’ve exposed it. Reading it is v difficult as her raw pain, terror and anguish are displayed quite candidly - very different to how she was shown in the press at the time. She also touches on the topic of how she was portrayed by the press and how deceptive it was.

Ok so the maccans dc were the only dc on the trip.

I don't think so?

Apologies for the link to the ghastly Mirror - it's the only thing I could fond which mentions this on a quick google - but according to this there were 9 adults and 8 children in total:

I've no idea why he hasn't been sued into oblivion
If you mean the Deception Detective, he has said many times that he's prepared for the McCanns to sue him. Which they haven't, to date, because a) he is purportedly an attorney himself, and b) IMHO his conclusions are far too close to the truth, so it would be unwise for the McCanns to put themselves under scrutiny again.
The Deception Detective, Sonia Poulton, Richard D. Hall and Peter Hyatt, to name but a few, are only trying to get to the truth.

You use the words "put themselves under scrutiny" again.

But haven't they been doing JUST that for the last 17 years?
They must be the only guilty people in history who fight to keep the story in the press and in the minds of the public, when it would be far better for them, surely, if they were guilty of a crime, to allow the story to die a natural death and then slink off into the shadows.

As I said above, the claims of some of those "investigators" are utterly outlandish and based on quack science. Richard Hall is a tin-foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist twit. There's "trying to get to the truth" and making completely farcical claims.
Saying Madeleine "must" have been thrown into the sea because someone used the words "on an even keel", and "keel" is a part of a boat, and boats go on the sea etc etc. There's no science to it, and I don't think its right or fair be tried in the court of public opinion for using specific words that mean nothing in particular but to conspiracy theorists looking for "answers", they will see what they want to see to affirm their beliefs - confirmation bias.

We only ever find out what really happened when the body is found.

And after 17 years, some evidence will have disappeared.

Hmm she wrote some pretty disturbing things in that book. Not the kind of things distressed parents of missing children write.

The USB stick they found buried at his property wrapped up with a dead dog is pretty telling, I believe they've also found chat logs with another pedophile in Brighton where he references taking a blonde girl and the initials MM.. scary really, the monsters we have in this world.

How many distressed parents of missing children do you know to make that statement?

There's no doubt that MM is missing and I dont think anyone would say that KM wasn't distressed and she did write it, your point doesn't make sense

SocoBateVira · 07/06/2024 11:14

Yes, you'd need some pretty niche professional or lived experience to actually be capable of judging what constitutes normal in Kate McCanns situation.

Dare I say it, I'm not confident that everyone who's opined on the subject actually has it...

changeison · 07/06/2024 11:17

I wonder how many posters who think there are weird things in the book have actually read the whole book from cover to cover? Or just read a couple of out of context paragraphs on one of the many anti McCann conspiracy theory websites?

In your absence of 'evidence of an abduction' then why is it the only theory that the majority go with?

DaoineSidhe · 07/06/2024 11:26

There is always evidence, why is Brueckner being targeted? What is the evidence?

DaoineSidhe · 07/06/2024 11:26

y head is spinning, or wait, could it possibly something else ...

DaoineSidhe · 07/06/2024 11:29

those goddamn dogs and their ability to sniff out drugs, explosives, missing people, bodies 20ft under water ... but Jesus when it comes to a 3 year old on a sun holiday.. nah.
