Madeleine McCann new evidence - BREAKING NEWS

PrettyFlyforaMaiTai · 05/06/2024 18:58

A Senior German detective has told a court that investigators had found emails on a Hotmail account used by Christian Brueckner that linked him directly to the Madeleine McCann case.

However, the detective was unable to share details of the evidence as it was 'related to the killing' of Madeleine. Brueckner, the prime suspect, is currently on trial in Germany for unrelated sex crimes.

The only person (s) who knows what happened to MM is the one (s) who saw her last. And they’re not telling!

Ben Needham’s dm was never given the help and publicity she deserved in the first few weeks because she was a young single dm working in a local hotel.
British class system at its finest!

9 pages in and still it is the McCanns on trial it seems when in actual day to day real current life this prick is standing trial rape and the reason for the Madeline case having all this new evidence being talked about is because of the brave people willing to face their abductor and rapist face to face in a court room so he has been examined in every way possible because of these people which is how the new evidence on Madeline has been brought to light.

Lets not applaud the bravery of the current victims of teh crimes he is in court over, lets completely ignore them and focus on how many think the McCanns were right or wrong instead. Lordy.

Look at any thread about children and safety , DV, social services and everyone will be saying about the need to safeguard your children.

SS can and do remove children who haven’t yet been harmed in any way due to the ‘risk of future harm’ . The reality is here that they were neglectful. Unintentionally maybe , misguided whatever but it was still neglect.

You have either misquoted me or spectacularly missed my entire point.

Well good for you, must be nice to know you’re perfect. Personally I know I’ve made decisions as a parent that in hindsight probably wasn’t the best idea. How about rather than vilifying a family who have been through something unspeakable we blame the creature that thinks it’s acceptable to kidnap and more than likely murder little children.

Have yet to see one jot of evidence that she was kidnapped.

No im just explaining to you why 9 pages in people are still saying that they were partly to blame. They set up a situation for a predator through neglect .

I have similar thoughts on this

@goldenpears yes but 17 years AND 9 pages in and its still the same thing.

You seem to be making some big accusations based on something you’ve never read.

Maybe read the book and make your own judgements rather than take someone else’s version of things with evidence that they’ve used selectively in order to sell a narrative?

An accusation that the quote from the book was effing weird? It was for any normal person, there is no denying that. I don't need to read the book, there's no context where what she wrote would be ok and not completely inappropriate. That's my judgement. Unless you're denying she actually wrote it and all the people who did read it and have repeated the quote are somehow lying.

MargaretThursday · 06/06/2024 08:59

It's all very well saying "I would never have done that" because just because you didn't, didn't mean others wouldn't have, nor do you know what you'd have done under peer pressure.
Just because you smugly didn't (and most people will have done something that would have put their child at risk at some point, but got away with it 99.9% of the time) doesn't mean that they should be condemned forever.

The person we should be blaming is the person who took her. If it wasn't for people like that, then it would never have happened.
And by the sound of it, if it was him, then if he hadn't taken her then, he'd have taken her, or another child at a different point. It wasn't a spontaneous seen-a-child on their own, I can get away with it. It was a deliberate choice because otherwise he wouldn't have been in the apartment, would he?
And if they'd been in the garden, the other side of the apartment, he might well have managed to take her anyway, because a sleepy child can be easily removed quietly enough that a group talking in the garden would not notice small noises.

By blaming the parents, you are absolving him of blame. You're also putting him in "well he couldn't help it because he was given such a temptation" box, which is a load of rubbish. No one is to blame except him.

Yes, the parents made a mistake. They paid for it in the worst possible way.

We have all made mistakes as parents. Most people don't pay for it.

I always hope she’s alive somewhere.
whatever happened, I hope the family find peace & some sort of closure eventually.

I actually don't hope she is alive unfortunately.

Psychoticbreak · 06/06/2024 09:01

To the posters saying theres no evidence she was kidnapped, in all these years there has been no concrete evidence of anything which is why nobody has been arrested.

The new evidence of this email is a direct result of the current trial he is on for rape. He was due for release next year, they need a conviction of rape in this case to keep him behind bars so he is not released to move about as he pleases and evade the law again so once he is back where he belongs with hopefully a 15 year sentance they can deep dive into everything else about the Madeline case which is nothing to do with this one. The victims currrently in the courtrooms facing him know it is imperitive he gets sent down for this so he is not released. I hope as much as anyone Madeline case gets closed at some point but the reality is going over what her parents should or shoudnt have done is not going to change the outcome.

I hope this fucker gets done for this and his victims get their closure before the Madeline case is reopened. They also deserve their closure.

PrincessScarlett · 06/06/2024 09:02

Maybe if Mark Warner hadn't offered a listening service in their resorts then the McCanns wouldn't have thought it acceptable to leave their kids 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don't think they actually used the listening service themselves but when a luxury holiday company advocates leaving children unattended you can see why some parents might not see a problem. A false sense of security. I wonder if they had have booked the listening service rather than checking themselves whether Mark Warner would have faced more criticism.

BurbageBrook · 06/06/2024 09:04

@Nopet I'm sorry but this was not normal at all. You were highly negligent parents to leave your children alone in an apartment. I was a child in the 90s and wouldn't even have been left with a foreign unknown babysitter let alone left to my own devices.

IKR. Nearly 20 fucking years of the same record.

BurbageBrook · 06/06/2024 09:06

I'm not blaming the parents at all, I blame the murderer. Just don't like it when people make out leaving your children alone was normal.

And at the end of the day whether they were right or wrong it is done. It is over and done with. They left them. We know this. This is concrete evidence and thers coming on with oh I would have or I wouldnt have has absolutely nothing to do with it. They did. Rightly or wrongly but that is the ONLY actual thing anyone 100% knows of this case.

PrettyFlyforaMaiTai · 06/06/2024 09:09

So these extract comes from the Mirrror and isn’t being reported else where

”Mr Stampa revealed details of Brueckner’s email accounts as he gave evidence at Braunschweig regional court. He told the court that he found vile images on a secret email address used by the German. Prosecutors got access to the inbox after making an application to US software giant Microsoft in 2019.

Mr Stamper said the German drifter had attempted to delete “many emails” which he shared with other paedophiles. He said the emails contained “numerous” videos which showed horrific abuse of “three or four-year-old” children. The detective said cops found a second account where he had swapped sickening child abuse videos with fellow paedophiles. He said Brueckner deleted all emails in that Hotmail account from the first half of 2007 - when Madeleine vanished.

Brueckner also used the email account to write a vile fantasy about raping a mother and her young daughter, the court heard. “It was a very detailed story about a five-year-old girl and her mother who are kidnapped and taken away in a van,” he said. “It was about violence and brutality and them being abused sexually - one is raped in front of the other.” A copy of the sickening fantasy story was found on a laptop Brueckner used in Portugal in 2017, the court heard”

Awful!

But this did happen all the time with certain holidays companies and in British hotels too. Nowadays many foreign and British hotels offer babysitting services with 'unknown babysitters'.

Obviously many parents on here would not leave their kids in holiday clubs or with unknown babysitters but every time I've been on holiday there are many kids left by their parents all day in kids clubs and again in the evening.

It doesn't really seem to be the MO of Bruckner though to be interested in taking such a young child when he is on trial for rape ?

He raped an elderly woman and appears to have been very sexually interested in children sadly.

There's a documentary on BBC. He was an opportunistic thief, breaking into apartments and may have also been watching the family/resort.

Psychoticbreak · 06/06/2024 09:11

I already posted a link to that AND of the currrent trial that got that evidence this far.

“all the people” who are fixated on that quote also happen to be all the people who spend their lives on the internet accusing the McCanns of all sorts of heinous crimes, no doubt you are one of them. Kate’s book was an international best seller that has received thousands of positive reviews, an only a tiny percentage of people fixate on those few words that seem to give some people a self righteous fit of the vapours. Grow up.

The sad reality is we know there are people out there like that , hence why you don’t leave your children alone just so you can eat and drink in peace.
Very high price a parent pays for doing do .

99.9% of parents don't pay any 'price' for the decisions they make. The consequences of the decision the McCanns made was entirely by chance; people without the reverse snobbery chip on their shoulder accept that.

The focus on them, rather than the person who abducted their daughter, is borne of resentment. Nothing more. Ghouls who think the McCanns owe them (personally!) an apology, because in their own inferior thought process ALL affluent qualified professional people think they're better than me.

Regardless of whether they killed her or not- I’ve always been outraged they never faced any sort of charge of child neglect. They abandoned their child, in a strange place to go and get pissed with their friends.

I lived above a pub when my daughter was born, I could have been up there in 30 seconds if necessary. But you can bet if anything terrible happened I would of got a lot more than they have ever faced 🤷‍♀️

100%
If they had been non white or of different socioeconomic background they would have been.

Parentingproblems101 · 05/06/2024 21:44

If this is true I hope the people who have said the McCanns killed her are eating their words. I also hope that family starts to get closure if this is the case.

These are my feelings exactly. Some extremely vile things have been said about the McCanns. I would like to think that some people would reflect on the vitriol they spewed forth but I very much doubt they will, they'll just shrug their shoulders and move on. Despicable people

It's also been interesting to see one pp said leaving children while parents ate out happened more than we have been led to believe. I bet there is quite a few people who also did this but have denied it and poured their scorn on the McCanns. Thank you pp for telling it how it was

As a parent who had children a similar age in the 90s/00s it was considered ok to eat very close to our apartment and regularly check. It was normal and never on our radar that a weirdo would steal our child.

Have to say I completely disagree with this comment. My DD was 3 months younger than Madeline, I also had a son who was 2 at the time and would never ever have left either one of them alone in an apartment. It was not considered an ok thing to do then just as it isnt now. Not blaming the parents, they have suffered the ultimate price for their mistake but not on any planet would it be ok to leave such young kids alone.

Ditto. This was the early 2000s, not the 1970s. It really wasn't ok.
