Scottish Labour are the pits. Totally beholden to Westminster, allying with the Tories just to try and thwart the SNP, even on policies that you'd think would be right in the Labour wheelhouse, just awful. And the Scottish Tories are utterly disgusting.
Obviously, we are not voting for Scottish elections, but the Westminster parties all disgust me, too. They have no care for how their policies affect Scotland, they would like to claw back devolution, do away with things like the baby box, child payment, free prescriptions etc that help lift Scottish kids out of poverty. Scotland isn't an offshoot or a colony of England, we are a country with our own unique needs, challenges and opportunities and we are a very different country to England. We need government that focuses on meeting those needs, challenges and opportunities.
