Something that's true no one would believe

so Something happened this morning that's so funny to me but I can't really say it to anyone because they'll think I'm nuts so I'll start.

i genuinely turned a corner in Lidl this morning and Tracy beaker was there (dani harmer) I'd heard rumours she had moved to my town but I wasn't sure. But no, sure enough there she was.

I won't say where just incase there's some odd balls super fans but there you go. Have you ever bumped into a celeb in an odd place or something happened that no one would believe?

The Stone Age period lasted for nearly 3.5 million years and ended between 6 and 8 thousand years ago.
Consequently it represents over 99% of human history.

I bump into and talk to Jane Mcdonald all the time.
We both live in same area and same city.

She once shoved me in the arse with her trolley in M&S Wakefield. I turned round and she was glaring at me for daring to be ahead of her in the queue. Everyone was fawning round her and I didn't know who she was until I got back to my then girlfriend's house and described the woman who had behaved so rudely and queried why other people seemed to be treating her like the new messiah. Apparently she's well known in and around Wakey for being adept at basking in said fawning whilst doing the "don't you know who I am?" treatment to anyone who doesn't fall at her feet.

I wouldn’t be eating crab apples!

But crab apples and cooking apples are still edible.

You'd regret picking them off the tree and shoving them in your mouth though.

Which is just three weeks longer than Bryan Adams spent at number one with “Everything I Do (I Do It For You)”.

Michael Ball, the actual singer, not a tribute act, not someone else called Michael Ball etc is playing at one of our local cricket clubs this summer.

Apparently, a lot if people thought it was an impersonator, not the real, actual Michael Ball.

Saw him in 2019 (couldn’t go to his recent tour). Really good concert .

exactly, and people get all confused and what to "do something about it" when their children exhibit stone age type behaviours like not wanting to sleep alone in the dark, or fear of monsters!

Short of undoing 3.5 million years of natural selection, no, you cant "do something to change it" - you just work with it

MistyRoseBlue · 23/05/2024 10:27

Robbie Williams used to occasionally perform as his own tribute act .

I must be lucky with the crab apples I've eaten.

@Riverlee, you must live near me. Large town beginning with H, cricket club in a village beginning with A? They are working hard on social media to persuade people that it's the real Michael Ball.

Riverlee · 24/05/2024 09:15

@IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads No, I don’t live in the area, but am on a Michael Ball Facebook fan site (😁)and I think it was mentioned there.
