Craziest conspiracy theory

sashh · 19/05/2024 07:27

I've just come across Rick Wiles.

According to him the covid jab injected an egg in to your bloodstream. These have now hatched into a synthetic parasites and this is a plan to take over the world.

I love a good conspiracy theory. What is the craziest one you have come across?

My favourite and one that I think may be truth adjacent (for want of a better phrase) is that the CIA wrote Wind of Change by The Scorpions.

StarShipControl · 19/05/2024 07:40

The moon doesn't exist and is a projection by nasa.

NewLifter · 19/05/2024 08:12

I love them too but they just don't ever make sense. Eg what would be the purpose of a fake moon?

The COVID ones are crazy and seem to still be intensifying!

I need to know more about this. Who would that work, do the CIA have their own music composer? Have they written anything else that hasn't been a hit?

Sproutofthisworld · 19/05/2024 09:27

That the UN sustainable development goals are actually a secret agenda to ban private property ownership. So stupid and wrong. The world was much better when people just got their news from the BBC and didn’t do their “own research” with zero education or understanding of context.

Me too.

I worked with a guy who said that the twin towers hadn't been hit by airplanes. He went on to say that they hadn't come down either.

He didn't believe in the moon landings and a multitude of other crazy theories.

SinnerBoy · 19/05/2024 10:41

Chemtrails. Because water doesn't form a vapour naturally, apparently.

the80sweregreat · 19/05/2024 10:44

If the twin towers didn't collapse then there wouldn't be a huge gap where they once stood.
Or am I missing something? ( admittedly I've never been to ground zero or NY , but I know a few people who have and they haven't mentioned seeing the towers still standing ? !)

OhYouBadBadKitten · 19/05/2024 10:45

I've seen a new one today. The sun was replaced during the recent solar eclipse and sunflowers don't turn to it now because they know it isn't the sun.

Not sure how in flower sunflowers are at this point mind.

the80sweregreat · 19/05/2024 10:47

The sun was replaced by what? Someone has invented a new sun ?

BlueJamSandwich · 19/05/2024 10:47

The ones that claim everything was created by a single being and all we have to do is worship it and we'll all live forever in some kind of paradise, but only after we die.

ArchaeoSpy · 19/05/2024 10:56

@sashh that some think there are no conspiracy theories especially when there have been a few that were conspiracy's to begin with then became admitted that they were true.

The one im intrested in at the moment :

from the book:
"The Truth About The Wonder Weapon"
and the theory is about Die Glocke, or "The Bell." due to the time travelling thats associated with the device.

Morph22010 · 19/05/2024 10:59

Most of the conspiracy theories I’ve heard to do with Covid etc, involve the government having to be highly organised, have a plan and all be “in on it” with no one breaking ranks, this is the thing I find most unbelievable

Exactly. Have these people seen the Tory party?!

blockyears · 19/05/2024 11:01

I once got lost down a rabbit hole looking at the claims the Sandy Hook massacre was a hoax and that all the parents and officials were actors.

Some conspiracy theories have a smidge of truth in them (which is what helps them to seem credible) but you'd have to suspend all rational thought processes in order to believe Sandy Hook was a hoax. It wasn't just harmless either - it must have caused an indescribable amount of pain and suffering to the victims' families.

NigelHarmansNewWife · 19/05/2024 11:03

The incidence of cock up far exceeds conspiracy.

The QAnon thing and all its offshoots just shows how many people are susceptible to this rubbish.

Blahdymcblahdyface · 19/05/2024 11:04

Australia doesn’t exist

L1ttledrummergirl · 19/05/2024 11:06

That the conservatives are the party for women.

Wtf, have people seen what they've done?

I never understand why, as anyone who knows about espionage cell systems or military cells etc would know that all you need is a couple of people at the top who are aware of the full plan.

The rest can be various subcontractors who carry out individual parts of the plan without knowing the entire scheme.

For example, consider making a cup of tea without anyone knowing, or with very few people knowing what you're making:

  • Person 1 knows the entire plan.
  • Person 2 gets the tea bags.
  • Person 3 gets the milk.
  • Person 4 gets the sugar.
  • Person 5 gets the cup.
  • Person 6 gets the kettle.
  • Person 7 gets the teaspoon.
Each of these people can drop the items at different locations. Person 1 then hires Person 8 to collect the items and make the tea. Finally, Person 1 uses the cup of tea for their intended purposes. Overall, if planned correctly, it would be possible to expand this idea to a large-scale mission.
spuddy4 · 19/05/2024 11:06

I think they throw in the batshit crazy ones to distract from the ones that are possibly true.

You look back at things like the Tuskagee syphilis experiment, operation mockingbird, MK ultra etc and at the time they were all deemed to be crazy but now we know they are true.

People are watching the cloud seeding going on in Dubai and naturally starting to wonder what else our governments hide from us and control.

I think the flat earth, human lizards, Tupac and Elvis living in Hawaii etc are put out there to make people think that crazy walks amongst us but I've never heard anyone in real life believe the crazy conspiracies.

DelectableMe · 19/05/2024 11:07

That there is something called the "British Media" who are all in cohoots over every issue and print lies to that effect.

apparently weather control was also used in ww2

Blahdymcblahdyface · 19/05/2024 11:08

Tartarian empire / Atlantis - major civilisation that left behind old buildings built by aliens - Bolton town hall was given as an example!

PTSDBarbiegirl · 19/05/2024 11:09

The Royal Family are lizards.
Contentious one - Scientology is a 'religion' and not an enormously wealthy, PR/Spin agency that blackmails celebs who rely on their image being presented in a certain way to secure film roles/protect studio franchises.
