I really like their sliced sourdough. And their cherry lattices.

What do you like that you can only get from there?

Cooked beetroot with horseradish - OMG amazing!!

Oh I like the no bags, the ocado way seems really wasteful even if they do get recycled.

I think that’s great, if you can manage it. But what if you’ve got a dodgy back etc?

Do you carry the crates into your house yourself op?

PickledMuffin · 16/05/2024 20:53

their lamb kleftiko is so good and serves 3-4. Also their prawn and chilli pizza 😋

LakeFlyPie · 16/05/2024 20:54

Terre di Faiano primitivo

ssd · 16/05/2024 20:58

They have lots of nice stuff.
I love the frozen soffritto, so handy.

Sourdough rolls
Lemon and sultana danish pastries

hattie43 · 16/05/2024 21:01

Oh and their fresh blueberries, large sweet and juicy compared to the small bitter bullet blueberries of other supermarkets

DinnaeFashYersel · 16/05/2024 21:01

Are you all on commission?

saltysquid · 16/05/2024 21:01

Oh and their croissants ofcourse. Also their yum yums and cinnamon bun

teaandyarn · 16/05/2024 21:03

The lemon drizzle cake is amazing, as good as homemade

Keralan inspired chicken fry. It's addictive.

That was dinner last night. Delish.

Also the dark chocolate covered ginger.

Turmerictolly · 16/05/2024 21:10

72% dark chocolate. Really thick squares, not sweet. Have to really limit myself to one or two squares.

Not their online shopping service that’s for sure. I’m fed up of having to lug heavy crates through the house and into the kitchen because they won’t deliver in carrier bags.

They could at least offer to deliver shopping in bags or carry the crates into the house.

This is why I shop at Waitrose. I don’t want unnecessary plastic bags!

Again, genuinely great if you can manage the crates. I can’t really at the moment.

Do you carry them through your house yourself?
I can’t work out what other people do if they can’t manage it.

notworkingagain · 16/05/2024 21:22

I didn't know they did frozen soffrito!! That has blown my mind! The literal minutes I would save...

PhuckyNell · 16/05/2024 21:27

Thanks for this - did you ask the driver to carry them in?

I lugged a family size shop in last weekend in crates, with a dodgy back, and I’ve decided I’m not going to do that again.

WhoppingBigBackside · 16/05/2024 21:36

The stores and the staff. It seems a more pleasant place to shop.
