Anyone staying up to try and glimpse the Aurora Borealis?

I think my camera is picking it up, but can't see it with my naked eye.

Waiting looking north towards Severn estuary, nothing yet

We are NE and I've set an alarm for 3ish to get up and look

Same. We've just been for a walk, but it's still far too light

I keep popping out into the back garden in Yorkshire! I took a photo with my phone that picked up a definite glow, but can't see anything with my eyes yet. I'd love to see it, not sure if the light pollution will be too much though. Staying up a bit later until it's darker!

Trouble is the glow on the right is Newquay...

DC called me to say someone has posted photos of it on our local FB page half an hour ago and I've been out to have a look, but nothing. Took a photo and nothing on that either.

Northing here yet! I'm becoming a bit obsessed checking outside every 5 minutes. Think it's too light outside

In Orkney here. Still too light I think
