I'm South East, but it's on my bucket list to see it in real life 🤞🏽.

Tonkerbea · 10/05/2024 22:27

I think my camera is picking it up, but can't see it with my naked eye.

Waiting looking north towards Severn estuary, nothing yet

merryandbrightdelight · 10/05/2024 22:29

We are NE and I've set an alarm for 3ish to get up and look

We are ironically, too far north! It doesn't get properly dark here for until late late!

Same. We've just been for a walk, but it's still far too light

FluffyDiplodocus · 10/05/2024 22:31

I keep popping out into the back garden in Yorkshire! I took a photo with my phone that picked up a definite glow, but can't see anything with my eyes yet. I'd love to see it, not sure if the light pollution will be too much though. Staying up a bit later until it's darker!

Is there anywhere listing timings for areas?

There Is a tracker I tried to put it on for you but I can't get it to upload.

Marylou62 · 10/05/2024 22:34

Trouble is the glow on the right is Newquay...

DrJonesIpresume · 10/05/2024 22:36

DC called me to say someone has posted photos of it on our local FB page half an hour ago and I've been out to have a look, but nothing. Took a photo and nothing on that either.

hulahoopqueen · 10/05/2024 22:36

Thank you all so much, I had no idea about when to look but the camera trick has done it!

hulahoopqueen · 10/05/2024 22:36

@Marylou62 I reckon so, yes, that pinkish tinge at the top of the photo.

sparkle17 · 10/05/2024 22:45

Northing here yet! I'm becoming a bit obsessed checking outside every 5 minutes. Think it's too light outside
