Egg mayo

TheChosenTwo · 01/05/2024 12:11

Cheese and tomato 🤮
actually anything with tomato.
Vile soggy and slimy once they’ve soaked their way into the bread giving it the texture of a sponge, to be consumed 2 days after it was made. Gives me the shivers just thinking about it!!
I actually dislike pretty much all premade sandwiches though so I’m unlikely to pick one up, there’s usually something else to choose from instead thankfully.

Daraghia · 01/05/2024 12:12

Anything in a wrap. Can't stand the texture.

I like all the ingredients individually but don't like a ploughman's sandwich

BoobyDazzler · 01/05/2024 12:14

My sandwich options are always severely limited in shops as I don’t like mayonnaise, so anything with that.

A friend used to have sandwich spread sandwiches and I always thought it looked like vomit. I couldn’t eat that if it was the last sandwich in the world.

FuckTheClubUp · 01/05/2024 12:14

Anyone who eats prawn mayonnaise sandwich can kill

RabbitsRock · 01/05/2024 12:15

I always get put off some shop bought sandwiches because of how long ago they were probably made ( supermarket offerings for example ). A friend has set up a business supplying packaged sandwiches, wraps etc to local shops & they are so much nicer as they’re freshly made & not transported for miles.
Worst sandwich would have Marmite in it . Ugh!

Glitterbiscuits · 01/05/2024 12:27

Tuna

It's cat food.

JovialNickname · 01/05/2024 12:30

Coronation chicken 🤢 cold curry in a sandwich, no thanks.

RitaIncognita · 01/05/2024 12:32

Peanut butter

PenelopeTitsdrop1990 · 01/05/2024 12:33

Coronation chicken. I'm not keen on sweet/savoury combos with the raisins 🤢

Marmite

Brie or camembert

SmallIslander · 01/05/2024 12:33

Anything with egg. It really winds me up when a butty shop ask you if you want salad on a butty and then put egg on it.

EGG IS NOT SALAD!!!!

marmaladeandpeanutbutter · 01/05/2024 12:35

Marmite. Yeuch.

MuggedByReality · 01/05/2024 12:36

I love sandwiches, but when I’m buying one I avoid the ‘all day breakfast’ type ones. Bacon, sausages & eggs just don’t work when served cold & claggy in a sandwich. The fat content is very high, and not worth it for the taste.

rookiemere · 01/05/2024 12:38

Anything with margarine or the euphemistic "spread". I don't even particularly like butter but at least it's edible.

Sealover123 · 01/05/2024 13:01

I love hot, freshly cooked prawns but loathe the thought of a prawn mayo sandwich. Totally agree with you.

Bloom15 · 01/05/2024 13:06

Prawn
Any tomato
Egg

🤢

MarshmallowsOnToast · 01/05/2024 13:07

Prawn!!

queenofthewild · 01/05/2024 13:07

Peanut butter.

I love a well made sandwich, and love the simple and fancy flavours. But the very smell of peanut butter makes me want to heave.

samestyle · 01/05/2024 13:10

Most of them but worst for me would be egg mayo. Not keen on shop sandwiches, always too much mayo and tomatoes or cheese with everything.

tillytoodles1 · 01/05/2024 13:12

DramaAlpaca · 30/04/2024 23:22

Tuna. The smell makes me heave.

Mt too.

mitogoshi · 01/05/2024 13:13

Egg is revolting

Minikievs · 01/05/2024 13:13

Prawn.
Like a pp, anything that makes the bread "wet". Floppy tomatoes being the main culprit

Crikeyalmighty · 01/05/2024 13:17

I agree with the cold breakfast ones

Also don't like sweetcorn or raw onion with anything

Simd1 · 01/05/2024 13:18

Agree with prawn. Don't eat them in anything. Disgusting.
Had a terrible sandwich during a hospital stay with DS - it was ham that was the thickest toughest ham I've ever come across. It had one of those beef tomatoes in it that had leaked its juice all over the bread which had gone squashed and soggy. I took one bite and no more. However the NHS fixed my child so I'll forgive them for the sandwich.

coffeepleeease · 01/05/2024 13:24

For me it's cold bacon, like a shop bought BLT
