I like everything that's been mentioned as awful so far bar the ready-made sandwich fillers.

This has nothing to do with my vegetarianism but HAM? evryone in my life more or less loves it... it's a basic Irish staple (puke!)

Jam

Coronation chicken.

Anything with beetroot in
Jam has no place in a sandwich - except a Victoria sandwich

Anything with egg or prawns
Salmon
Anything with mayonnaise
Anything with mustard
Anything that has been tarted up with pesto or roasted vegetables or any of the fashionable things they are ruining sandwiches with nowadays.

Sadly, that doesn't leave an awful lot to choose from... I get hugely excited when I see Coronation Chicken (yes I'm aware it has mayonnaise but it doesn't taste like mayonnaise) although I have to pick out the spinach they put in instead of lettuce nowadays. And I do like cheese and celery, out of the less common ones.

Anything with sweetcorn. I don't understand the obsession with it.

Anything with egg can get in the bin. Doubly so if it’s slathered in mayonnaise.

Another who hates sweetcorn in a sandwich .
Anything which makes the bread go soggy - especially tomato.

This has made me realise I am not at all fussy when it comes to sandwich fillings! Some great lunch ideas here.

Anything with cucumber in it

BLT - I don't like cold bacon in a sandwich. Avoid tomatoes as they make the bread soggy.

Anything polluted by tomato - people say "oh just remove it" but the taste is all over everything and I have no desire to get the horrid stuff on my hands as well.

The vegetarian sandwiches that are sloppy roasted peppers and other veggie that have been soaked in oil, then slathered in hummus. Ewww.

The cheese and pickle sandwich from pret is god tier for anyone who hates cheese and pickle, this will convert you!

Those cold "breakfast" ones. Cold mayonnaisey egg with rubbery bacon on soggy bread. I'd rather go hungry thanks.

Cheese and vegemite sandwich is an Aussie staple.

My nanna used to send me to school with a ham and tomato sauce sandwich Now cant handle ham in a sandwich.
