PG Tips or Earl Grey for me and a ginger nut 'cause when it mixes with tea it has perfect chewiness.

English breakfast tea with milk or black with lemon. Lemon grass and ginger tea after 4:30pm.

Biscuit - ginger nut or shortbread dunked so not under any circumstances chewy

pinkgown · 30/04/2024 23:22

Miles' loose leaf tea, made weak with whole milk. Lincoln biscuits, if I can find them.
I don't like teabag tea much and I think it stains teeth far more than tea made in a pot.
I saw someone dunking a scone with cream and jam in their tea a couple of weeks ago. Eeeeww...

Yorkshire tea & a hob nob

maudelovesharold · 30/04/2024 23:35

Twining’s Earl Grey with a couple of Biscoff biscuits!

Pascha · 30/04/2024 23:35

Yorkshire and a plain chocolate digestive straight from the freezer so the chocolate snaps when bitten.

Occasionally if I have fruit cake it stands a small dunking too.

MoonlightMemories · 01/05/2024 01:03

Milky Twinings English Breakfast with chocolate digestives biscuits, dunked 2 at a time (chocolate sides facing in together)

echt · 01/05/2024 03:46

Tetley's Extra Strong.

I don't have biscuits or cake in the house, but if someone was offering, a ginger nut just to see if they taste as they did when I was a child.

Thursa · 01/05/2024 03:52

Tetley and a Tunnocks teacake

theyoungishman · 01/05/2024 04:36

Peppermint tea and tim tams

FloofyBear · 01/05/2024 06:18

English breakfast or Earl grey for me, I love cookies, ginger, shortbreads but you can't beat a mix of bourbon and custard creams IMO

Franticbutterfly · 01/05/2024 09:47

Yorkshire decaf and a lemon and white chocolate M&S cookie.

Pineapplewaves · 01/05/2024 10:00

Yorkshire Tea Decaff and chocolate Hob Nobs.

Ariela · 01/05/2024 10:57

Aldi Gold and lemon puffs this week (found them in the corner shop)

specialk9 · 01/05/2024 11:08

PG tips, or Tesco Finest Assam if I'm feeling fancy.

Digestive - has to be McVities !

Fluffy40 · 01/05/2024 11:09

Any old tea with a plain chocolate digestive .

MrsSkylerWhite · 01/05/2024 11:10

Earl Grey/Assam. Not a biscuit person.

Twinnings English Breakfast Tea with a caramel chocolate digestive ❤️

Yes!
Although I also enjoy the fox’s half coated cookies.

People asking about lemon puffs - home bargains and B&M often have these!

HippyChickMama · 01/05/2024 11:34

Loose leaf Assam or the house blend from Ty Hyll tearoom if we've recently been there and brought some back. Digestives or Rich Tea. I can only have one cup a day of proper tea though, Sainsbury's decaf the rest of the time or I get migraines from the caffeine

almondfinger · 01/05/2024 11:56

Barrys and a couple of ginger nuts.

I used to get it is ASDA when we lived in the UK. Now I see shelves of it in all its variations whenever I go shoppping.

WhereAreWeNow · 01/05/2024 11:58

Earl Grey or English Breakfast and a posh chocolate florentine in an ideal world. More likely to be a custard cream in reality.

BouleDeSuif · 01/05/2024 11:59

Tetley's and digestives.

boozeclues · 01/05/2024 12:03

Strong Yorkshire tea and an oaty chocolate hob nob 👌👌

Luxell934 · 01/05/2024 12:42
