Turn out rates are never fantastic. I have an awful fear it will be like the Brexit vote, so many people will assume a certain outcome they won't bother voting at all.

No vote from me.

I don't mind Rishi and I'm certainly pleased with the pushback against trans agenda but his party gave us Truss and Boris so no thank you.

Labour have nothing to offer other than die hard leftie student politics and trans agenda.

Lib Dems 🤦‍♀️ on so many fronts.

Greens are just huggy be-kinders who have no idea how patronising and dangerous (and unkind) they truly are

WaitingfortheTardis · 30/04/2024 18:51

Yes, we need a change, anything will be better.

TTPD · 30/04/2024 18:53

Yes, obviously.

Yes, I'm in a constituency which will almost certainly go from blue to red and though not thrilled with Labour, I'm not concerned about what will happen if they get into power like I am with the Tories.

The Tories are moving in an increasingly rabid right-wing direction which doesn't even care what is actually popular (like, who asked for Rwanda deportations, seriously?) and they're just going to push cruel policies that hurt people because hurting less advantaged people is cheap and easy - take away benefits, remove people's rights, demonise immigrants - unlike actually helping anyone, and you can say 'Look, we're doing something!' It's grotesque politics.

Maddy70 · 30/04/2024 18:59

Yes ill ɓe voting tactically to get rid of the tories. Probably labour

Gettingbysomehow · 30/04/2024 19:08

I have zero faith in any party who gets in so I just vote for the person I think will serve my local constituency the best and who has a good chance of getting in. At the moment that's my local lib dem candidate. I dont rate lib dem as a party generally.

EasternStandard · 30/04/2024 19:10

Yep I always do

TheresNoFudgeHere · 30/04/2024 19:11

Yes. Labour

reluctantbrit · 30/04/2024 19:11

Yes because I cherish the right to vote and see it as my civic duty.

Some years I think why do I bother as I live in a constituency with a huge Tory majority but I think it can show a change in opinion if you find more people voting strategically even if the candidate is still the "wrong"one.

The Tories are a nightmare, 5 more years and our society will be even more rundown. We need Labour to go back to establishing a society where it doesn't count if you are rich. And yes, I am happy to pay more taxes.

Hedgerow2 · 30/04/2024 19:13

Yes - Labour as always.

WibblyWobblyWeeble · 30/04/2024 19:13

I'll turn out, but I might spoil.

Shinyandnew1 · 30/04/2024 19:15

Yes, I will always vote.

About sums it up. However, I will vote. I will vote Tory. At least there’s a fighting chance they will protect women’s rights on account of they can actually identify one.

Are you concerned the leader can’t identify what a woman is, apologised for mentioning the word “cervix”? How can that protect women’s rights?

lotsofpeoplenametheirswords · 30/04/2024 19:20

Yes. Not made my mind up yet, but it won't be Labour.

Trolleytoken · 30/04/2024 19:21

Honestly, I probably won’t bother as I live in a massively safe seat. If I had strong feelings about whether one choice would be better than another I might but at the moment i don’t. It’s not that I don’t think Labour has good intentions. I just don’t understand how they’re going to do it given they can’t really raise taxes.

bluetopazlove · 30/04/2024 19:21

Providing nothing stops me like death I'll be voting . Never had anything stop me before , so It'll have to be death .

RishiSunak · 30/04/2024 19:23

I think that I'm going to have to!

JoJothegerbil · 30/04/2024 19:27

I'll be voting tactically to get the Tories out. I've voted in every General Election since 1992 so I won't miss this one.

IvorTheEngineDriver · 30/04/2024 19:27

To those with 2 X cromosomes, just remember women died so you could vote.

GCITC · 30/04/2024 19:28

Yes (if I remember ID) but will most likely be spoiling.

Lonelycrab · 30/04/2024 19:28

Yes, although down to Fptp I’ll be voting for the LibDems as I’m in one of the safest Tory seats in the country that will probably still return a Tory mp..

Keepingittogetherstepbystep · 30/04/2024 19:29

Will vote but not decided yet. Need the plank that supposedly represents my area out though.

Redshoeblueshoe · 30/04/2024 19:29

RishiSunak · 30/04/2024 19:23

I think that I'm going to have to!

Yeah but honestly who will you vote for ?

Favouritefruits · 30/04/2024 19:30

Yes I will! Women gave their lives to give me the vote I would want those deaths to be in vein
