Just out of curiosity

I'm currently trying to lose my postpartum weight... would absolutely devour a croissant but I've had:
-black caffetiere coffee

  • 0% fat Greek yoghurt with blueberries & strawberries

A cup of tea and a slice of simnel cake. I usually have porridge or toast but just fancied something different today. Brew Brew

Peonies12 · 19/04/2024 10:31

Aldi's Wheat Shreds, great as only made of wheat with nothing else. Do consider that those low/no fat yoghurts have more sugar in than normal yoghurt does.

Newestname002 · 19/04/2024 10:31

Two eggs scrambled without butter, with salt &pepper, one slice buttered (benecol buttery) wholemeal Irish soda bread, black coffee with stevia plus a small chopped apple. About to have a green tea with mint now, plus a whole grain digestive biscuit plus some raw skin-on almonds. 🌹

coffee and a smoothie (novelty of new Ninja blender!)

What have you had for breakfast?
HullaBallu · 19/04/2024 10:37

Instant coffee when I got up at 7.30. Just had Greek yoghurt (full fat) and some jarred plums from Lidl.

Would be feeling very holy if DH hadn't bought fresh croissants from the good baker on the way home from the gym...

CosmosQueen · 19/04/2024 10:54

Never eat breakfast, just a coffee first thing.
I will have crispbread with smoked salmon and cucumber in a minute then, if I’m hungry, lunch will be jacket potato and salad. Fruit mid afternoon.
Probably a piece of sourdough toast and butter for tea.

WonderingAboutBabies · 19/04/2024 10:55

Porridge topped with raspberries, banana, chia seeds, and honey. And a mug of coffee!

Normally have this or the same but with Weetabix.

LaPalmaLlama · 19/04/2024 10:57

2 cups of tea
Double shot latte
2 slices of sourdough with butter and chunky marmalade.

poppym12 · 19/04/2024 11:32

2 espressos, an orange and a crepe with Nutella (usually just coffee but currently on holiday).

RamblingEclectic · 19/04/2024 11:44

Today was overnight oats with 2 scoops of protein powder, near cup of the frozen diced fruit that's advertised for smoothies, and mix of yoghurt and milk to get the oats and powders to gloop to a thick porridge.

I mix it up the afternoon before on mood and/or what I want to use - sometimes I used a small handful of dried fruit instead of the frozen, sometimes I use seeds instead.

It tends to be this or a protein granola + yoghurt mixed together, or some mornings just a protein shake.

Eyesopenwideawake · 19/04/2024 11:46

Just having it now, so more brunch, two eggs from our hens fried in olive oil (from our trees!) on toast. And several big mugs of tea.

Blackcats7 · 19/04/2024 11:48

Nutella. Out of the jar with a spoon.

Margo2023 · 19/04/2024 12:03

My go to treat is scrambled egg, mini warmed tortilla, diced salami (Aldi), avocado and coriander with green Tabasco! I'm doing some juicing pre hol, celery honey ginger, pineapple and strawberry just in the blender with ice

MsChatterbox · 19/04/2024 12:17

If you want to lose weight and keep it off you need to do it in a way you can continue. If you can continue with that breakfast forever then fab! I would be hungry after that pretty soon. For breafkast I had a thin protein bagel, scrambled egg and 2 heck chicken sausages. If you focus on protein you will be full and not searching for anything additional outside of meals!

BlessedBeTheFruitCake · 19/04/2024 12:19

Banana, Greek yogurt with granola sprinkled on top.

RabbitsRock · 19/04/2024 12:20

Nothing today but I find bacon, eggs & toast keeps me going really well.

EdithArtois · 19/04/2024 12:59

1 peice black pudding, 1 egg, tomato and 1 toast

Inmydreams88 · 19/04/2024 13:17

Two weetabix with chopped banana and almond milk with a latte.

Droolylabradors · 19/04/2024 13:27

Two v soft boiled eggs smushed on two rice cakes followed by two squares of dark chocolate. And a decaf coffee.

Andthereyougo · 19/04/2024 13:27

2 poached eggs on a wrap as it’s the only bread I had in, trying to cut carbs. It wasn’t as nice as warm thick toast with butter ☹️

mrswhiplington · 19/04/2024 14:35

Toast with peanut butter and a cup of tea.

Kinsters · 19/04/2024 14:53

2 Weetabix with full fat milk, banana, strawberries and honey on top.

SOxon · 19/04/2024 14:55

A small cafetiere of coffee, rich Italian, a pain au raisin from WR bit burnt on the bottom, bowl of bucatini with puttanesca sauce, extra butter and cheese, leftovers, two coffees, a juicy pear, late at 8.10am

Also made fish pie for dinner at 7 and a chocolate sponge cake with thick cream, black cherry jam, (Bonne Maman) in the middle.

I’m so hungry, making a sandwich on fresh farmhouse bread from the bakers, Philadelphia, watercress, cucumber, mug of redbush.

Yirk · 19/04/2024 15:10

2 cups of tea
The wholemeal crust covered in half a mashed banana .

OopsieeDaisy · 19/04/2024 15:18

Coffee first thing, then 2 weetabix with semi skimmed milk, topped with strawberries and banana.
