How many UK cities have you visited?

Inspired by a post on another thread, I decided to work this out. I've only been to 40 of the 76 - 32 in England, 6 in Scotland and only one each for Wales and Northern Ireland. (I've not included the Crown dependencies etc on the list though I have been to Douglas so it's 41 if I count that.) Some of my "visits" are a bit tenuous, such as my car broke down in Doncaster once so I perhaps haven't seen the place to its best advantage, but I haven't included places I have been through but not stopped at, such as going through Milton Keynes on the train, or being diverted through St Asaph due to roadworks on the way to a North Wales holiday!
I thought I'd visited most parts of the UK but looks like I actually have some pretty big gaps. How many have you been to? I have to confess that I didn't know that some of the places on this list even were cities.

28. Nearly all the welsh and scottish ones. Big gaps in the middle/north of England

15 all in England. A couple more I've been to the airport only so didn't count them.

I have been to so many coastal and upland regions all over GB (not yet NI), but not so many cities.

Loads but only saw the inside of a dance hall generally, dark when we got there and sunglasses on in the morning light.16 years of travel going to Northern soul niters.

Ive been to 35 including all the Scottish ones (not Scottish and don't live there)

58, all 8 in Scotland, 46 in England, one in Northern Ireland and three in Wales. I’ve also been to Douglas.

36 - just added St Davids today, as holidaying in Pembrokeshire!

I lived in London for a few years when I had my first child and was amazed at the number of people I met who "travelled" and had lots of holidays in different countries but had hardly left London in the UK.

63 - I need to visit NI as this accounts for most of those missing

Thanks for the list OP - quite fascinating. If you'd asked me to name 76 cities, or even just the ones in England, I'd have never thought of several of them.
