How is 20 degrees a “heatwave”?

Not my definition of a heatwave. Just pleasantly warm.

We live in London see side - looking great but some wind but it may be warm
Was considering Brighton, or Dymchurch but coast will be cold
Nice to get this as last year was poor weather on the hole and this year has been a wash out, inc London

Be a bloody heatwave compared to the 6 in a Ne Scottish city just now,.

It's a normal spring day, not a heatwave. I'm just pleased it's stopped pissing with rain.

I'm in London but it's saying cloudy and 20 from about midday onwards.

I had a lovely walk through Hyde Park this afternoon and it was mild enough to actually take my jacket off. Lovely to see all the trees bursting into leaf.

Supposed to gale force winds here, so doesn't matter what the temp is, it's not going to be garden weather.

Exactly....in SE Scotland and it's been pouring all day and 6 degrees

20C IS a heatwave in early April! Due to be around 17 where I am. That'll do! I bet it chuffing rains though! 🌧 Bah humbug!

It's cold and wet here. I would take 20 degrees and sunny.

It’s forecast 20 degrees in South Yorkshire tomorrow too. I am going to sit in the garden. God knows when we might see 20 degrees and a fine day again.

They're also forecasting 40 mph wind, so it might not feel that warm? I don't know what to wear for my day out 🤣
