Heatwave in London tomorrow!

Shame about the strong gale force winds, otherwise it would have been lovely to have it a bit warmer and sunny for a change.

It's 16c - the sun is out 🌞 and no winds, yet!

As I expected, downgraded and upgraded where we live. Sun and heat, downgraded. Wind, upgraded.

The weather people are no more capable of predicting the weather for the next day than the fox that we see at times in our garden.

I'm in London. It's no heatwave but it is pleasant sitting here with the back door open.

Well it's 10 degrees in the North West at the moment, I would love a heat wave!!

By the time I got my joggers and trainers on the sun had gone in and there was what the BBC weather page calls a 'fresh breeze'!

I'm hopeful for this afternoon🌞

Definitely not feeling heatwave-like round here. It's nowhere near 20 Celsius, either.

Going by the skies and the wind, I'd give it about an hour before it starts raining.

Not even blue skies here in London. The temp is quite mild but no sun. Gutted.

I find the weather forecasts are really unreliable at the moment

Grey and cloudy in my part of London but hoping the sun peeks through soon.

Any other Londoners find it wild when the weather differs between areas? DP messaged me the other day from SW London where it was tipping it down but it completely dry and where I was in East London.

It's unpleasantly warmish but cloudy with gale force gusts. It's not really what I call nice weather 😂 I'd go for cold, but bright and sunny, personally.

I'm in St Albans and its grey and windy and only warmish. This is not what I was promised

SW London and had to close the windows, it was so breezy. And it's mild but not actually warm. It'c currently cloudy with sun trying to get through.

It's warm in my bit of London, but I doubt it's reached 20. Overcast, so it doesn't feel spring-like.

Not in London but still in the bit that was meant to be hot, sun has popped out occasionally but it's a bit windy to sit outside, washing though has dried a treat, just put a second lot out. Thermometer says 20c
