Seabrook potato crisps

As far as I know, this Bradford firm doesn't make any other similar snack foods, just crisps. They've been crinkle cut for decades but I remember when they weren't. Anyhoo, what is your favourite Seabrook flavour...?

Mine is Pickled Onion. A little antisocial but very tasty and tangy. The Spring Onion ones are a bit overpowering for me. Smoky Bacon also good.

Ohhh I love the prawn cocktail ones which is surprising as I don't tend to rate any other makes for prawn cocktail, also love the salt n vinegar.

Seabrook were always my favourite crisps. They are also one of the cheapest brands. However, I stopped buying them after I read they were cooked in some kind of oil that is supposedly not good for you. Maybe they've changed the oil they are cooked in these days but it really put me off them.

The Canadian ham.....😍😍😍

Canadian Ham flavour. I've not had them in a while though so not sure if they still do them.

Prawn cocktail. Although, I’m not sure if it is just me, but the taste seems to have changed/not been as good the last 12 months. Lots of ‘bad’ crisps. It’s put me off.

Cheese and onion in a ham sandwich.

Bought a six pack of Beefy ones from B&M today.

Seabrook's are no longer my favourite crisps brand though. Irish brand Tayto crisps are my faves can sometimes get them here in England.

Always ready salted in any crisp.

I've never been keen on the Canadian Ham. They seem to have an odd chemical smell!

Used to love Seabrook, but moved over to McCoys!

Always loved the prawn cocktail but they do taste different now. Think sugar has been added. Why the hell do they keep adding sugar to crisps 😒

Used to love love love Seabrook crisps. Spring onion and also salt and vinegar.

But I think they've changed the recipe because they're nowhere near as nice tasting as they once were.
So I don't bother anymore. If I'm going to eat junk and empty calories it needs to taste exactly right or what's the point.

I am Tayto curious though, as have heard all good things but have never spotted one in the wild to try.

Great crisps. Ready Salted are the best, then S&V.

I think something has changed with Seabrook Cheese and Onion. And not for the better.

I've just got back from Morrisons ready for a rare night with the house to myself curled up on the sofa - a bag of renowned crisps would have been the cherry on the cake! 😭

Tayto cheese and onion are my kryptonite. Any crisp with an onion flavour will do me but the Tayto ones are thick and absolutely covered in seasoning 🤤

Never tried Seabrook and I haven’t seen them either!

They are £1 in B+M at the moment
Not as nice as they used to be, harder texture and often black bits or eyes on the crisps ( loads of brands are like this now tho)

Canadian ham is my favourite, closely followed by prawn cocktail. I love Seabrooks!
