What are your favourite football chants?

Some of mine:

When Rio Ferdinand was on the bench for months after fluffing his drugs test : His name is Rio and he watches from the stand

When Bury signed their new striker : Lennell John-Lewis his name is a shop

Celtic during Coronation week : You can shove your coronation up your arse, you can shove your coronation up your arse, you can shove your coronation, shove your coronation etc

One from my childhood : Georgie Best, superstar, walks like a woman and he wears a bra

Da da da da da, fuck the Tories!

After Andy Goram (Rangers player) was diagnosed with mild schizophrenia the fans chanted “Two Andy Gorams, there’s only two Andy Gorams”.

We do have, many, many more...

Like:

We hate Nottingham Forest
We hate Everton too, they're shit!
We hate Man Utd
But we love Liverpool!

And during an evening match

Show them the way to go home
They're tired and they want to go to bed
Cos they're only half a football team, compared to the boys in red!

And

DH’s favourite even though it’s against his own team: “Highbury is a library, Highbury is a library, nah nah nah na, nah nah nah na!” when they’re losing whatever-nil.

So many good ones but this is a favourite:

I quite like, "football in a library" but nothing can beat, "Woking Woking Boing Boing" and jumping in the terraces when I was about 15. I've been several times over the many years since and have never heard it again 😂

A take on the "Shit Ground, No Fans" chant was "Shit fans, No Ground" directed at the Wealdstone faithful during their nomadic years (esp the disastrous tenancy at Vicarage Road). God that was 30 years ago....where has the time gone eh.

My team don't have many original chants but DH is a hibs fan and they are quite creative.
