Watching The Breakfast Club for the first time in about 30 years. Had forgotten how utterly gorgeous Judd Nelson was in this.

Whatever happened to him?

Oh yes. I had a massive crush on him.

I so wanted to be Molly Ringwald.

Think he had a decent career but sadly lost his looks. *edited to say not really so much as lost his looks but grew older. as we all do.

the last film I saw him in was Called Girl in the basement and he was Joseph Fritzl. to be fair it was 2021 and none of us look like we did in the 80's

Oh god yes, he was in St Elmo's Fire as well wasn't he? Judd Nelson and Rob Lowe, both in their prime. The 80s was such a great time to be a teenager 😍

Omg I loved St Elmo's Fire and tried to copy Ally Sheedy's wardrobe for a while. I actually applied to do a year abroad at Georgetown University because of that movie but it was switched at the last minute. I was gutted but ended up meeting my husband at the second choice university!! Definitely a sliding doors moment!

Just observationally-ally sheedy has teeth that she would never have in a film today.

My favourite was always Andrew McCarthy. Pretty in Pink is one of my all time favourite films.
