I dislike 'penalised'. I'm not too fond of 'engorged' now I think about it. Anyone else have words they don't like much?

Ooh yeah bosoms isn't a very nice word. And brassiere, not keen on that either.

Abdomen. Just typing it makes me feel ill.

TheTecknician · 25/03/2024 07:47

Bosoms is a great word. I dislike amateur, but only when some nit pronounces it 'ama-chuh'.

eatdrinkandbemerry · 25/03/2024 07:48

It's overused 🤷‍♀️

Dontjudgeme101 · 25/03/2024 08:15

Banter! I hate it. Imo, is used to be nasty to people. The person pretend that they are joking, but a lot of the time they are not.

I was once very pleased to hear that word! At 13 or 14 - with barely enough to fill a 32 AA bra - I was babysitting a neighbour’s boys of maybe 8 and 10, when the elder suddenly said, ‘Hey!! You’ve got bosoms!’ 😂

At least someone had noticed!

Allshallbewell2021 · 25/03/2024 08:27

When people say it gives a "POP of colour"

Awful

CeliaCanth · 25/03/2024 08:34

Niblings (WTF)
Panties or the even more nauseating “scanties”
