For some reason I've previously missed Sunak's plan to appoint 150 new judges to fast-track appeals for prospective Rwanda deportees.
Yes, for Sunak, it's absolutely fine for victims of rape and serious assault to wait years for their attackers' cases to come to trial and there is no need to take any steps to fast-track those cases, but he will throw yet more money at diverting judges onto the ludicrous Rwanda scheme. And feminists claim they want to vote for Conservatives.
Fortunately I suspect he'll seriously struggle to find lawyers who actually want to give up their practices in order to facilitate him with operating a law which revolts against basic logic let alone morality. It could be fun if he appoints his 150 judges and they unanimously refuse to deport anyone.
