Me too, but that doesn´t mean I need it on EVERYTHING...

Willy Wonka experiences

Hahahahaha, so glad I finished my coffee before ready that😂

Cantabulous · 21/03/2024 15:09

Salted caramel. Gravy. Baked beans. All inclusive total boredom. Spa days. Flying anywhere. Posh restaurants. Handbags. Polished nails. Instagram. Men in shorts. Dog harnesses as opposed to collars.

DoYouSmokePaul · 21/03/2024 15:09

I just remembered the worst one - Bongo Bingo.

Have had so many colleagues, family members and clients raving about what a great night out it is. Looked up videos and it is the most horrendous scenario I could imagine finding myself in. Screeching drunks dancing on tables to rave music while some fanny with a mic chats shit over the tannoy system to whoops and hollers.

Truly ghastly.

minipie · 21/03/2024 15:10

Well I’m even more of a meanie because I’d say dogs full stop.

Why would anyone deliberately get a creature that needs its poo picking up for years and years, guilts you if you leave it home alone, makes going away difficult, and smells? Just don’t get it.

I’m a cat person too

Ftr, I take my tea to be hot, (I warm the milk beforehand so it doesn't cool it too much)

Warm milk. In tea. TEA.

That comet that's going to wipe us out can't come too soon if this is where we've got to as a species.

Don't tell me you microwave it, my nervous system couldn't take it.

Oesophageal cancer will wipe out the pp first. And I thought I drank my tea too hot.

enchantedsquirrelwood · 21/03/2024 15:12

Omg I went to a water park for the first time last year and I loved it! I did get a pass which skipped the long queues though so maybe that helped

Water parks are fab. But apparently I am weird for being an adult who wants to go to one. They are for kids only.

They really aren't! Why are adults not allowed to have fun on flumes etc too?

Well that's cheerful (also like my tea hot).

enchantedsquirrelwood · 21/03/2024 15:13

Beaches. Fuck sand - you are a hideous, invasive microbe of pure hell. Coupled with The Sea - big, deep and full of things that might kill you. More likely sewage in the UK rather than sharks though

Agreed, I've never been a beach person. Totally overrated. I can manage about 10 minutes before I am bored.

Actually, make that 10 seconds.

My DH has been and we're both looking forward to taking our campervan. Some of Scotland is supposed to beautiful.

@ivyleafgeranium what don't you like about it?

Edited

Supposed to be beautiful ? Honestly it truly is. So many beautiful places that it is impossible to have a favourite. Hope you have a great time when you get here.

Maybe I’m just a meanie but labradors and golden retrievers. I like some dogs but I’ve never found those type cute, I don’t know why. Everyone goes on about them like they’re the best ones. Maybe because the ones I know are kind of gross?

love a terrier, so cute. Probably because they remind me of cats which I prefer.

They're slobbery, food-obsessed and a bit stupid IME. And I like dogs generally. I also prefer small terriers that have an air of just getting on with things, lurchers/greyhounds/sighthounds in general, collies... any dogs that look like they could do a day's work and are not only interested in stealing food.

All that applies to kids. Just saying.

I love them too. We went to one last year abroad. Loved the hourly wave machine. Most fun I've had with my teenage DS all year.

the80sweregreat · 21/03/2024 15:17

Sitting on beaches or even my own back garden and within ten minutes I'm bored
Even with a good book !
I can't see the appeal yet , people love it

What happens to your cat's poo?

There are too many stunning places to visit in one trip, but I'd highly recommend Uist, Benbecula, Harris and Lewis.

Cat poo is blossom's perfume carried on the wind of a warm summer's evening compared to dog poo.

'Going shopping' as an activity or fun thing to do. It seems so naff to spend hours and hours wandering around shops for more and more things. Then overflowing wardrobes and cupboards and often moaning about having no money 😒

…or moaning they ‘have nothing to wear’ ! 🤨

Bringbackspring · 21/03/2024 15:30

Stop telling everyone how nice the Scottish Highlands is! I don't need to get stuck behind yet another camper/motorhome while trying to go about my day! It's gross up here, do not come 😂

So I think I'll actually add campervans to my list!

Kidding, do come here, but drive at a normal speed, pay for a campsite not my local co-op car park (cheapskates) and take your shit home with you, thanks.

Question: do otters ever actually cross, or is this a huge myth/speed prevention technique?

Dogs (sorry)
Green tea
Vegetables
Having kids ( I have one)
Being in a relationship
Titanic museum in Belfast
Van Gogh interactive experience
Swimming pools (they're disgusting)
Oral sex ( receiving it)
The Hoover that just goes about by itself, ( god it's utter shite!)

The above aren't all shit, some of them are but some are just over rated.

Titanic museum - have you been in the last couple of years? They added 3 or 4 really good new bits and it’s much more cohesive and engaging than before. First time I thought it was just alright, second time I thought it was fantastic.
