Dr Amir Khan.

So smug and obviously now loves himself now he's made it on the Telly. Unpopular opinion I know.

How very dare you. Go to your room and stay there until you're ready to apologise. Properly. 😮

Theedgeoftheabyss · 21/03/2024 07:20

Pets. I don't care if they bring you joy.

This is the worst cat I've ever seen.

👌🤣🤣

Yes! Me and my daughter tried bubble tea after we were told how amazing it was. Thought it was gross 🤢.

I love bible tea. All those little balls being sucked up into my gob 🤣

Okeydokedeva · 21/03/2024 07:25

All musicals
all dogs
pubs and ‘nights out’
theme parks
’Great’ Britain
Westminster democratic system

avocadoes are amazing. I will fight for them to be removed from this list!! Been eating Avo toast since I was a baby.

Firecarrier · 21/03/2024 07:26

Afternoon tea.

Rather have a big plate of sandwiches (that haven't been pre prepared and put in the fridge so are freezing cold) rather than 2 sandwiches and a mountain of cakes.

Apparently, that makes me a man as savoury afternoon tea is advertised as a man's afternoon tea!

43ontherocksporfavor · 21/03/2024 07:27

Yeah I don’t get afternoon tea. How many cakes can I actually eat in one sitting and after sandwiches?? Always feels such a waste. I’ve actually won an afternoon tea in a posh hotel but going to give away.
I hate musicals too so I’m not doing very well as a British woman in her 50s cos those things are standard requirements apparently….

the80sweregreat · 21/03/2024 07:33

Most musicals are just odd
Abba , that avatar show sounds shit, but I do like some of the songs
Afternoon tea is a rip off

Ydkiml · 21/03/2024 07:35

Oasis . They were shit

curiousasacat · 21/03/2024 07:37

I agree with the Mona Lisa. I love art but why is this the most expensive painting in the world?- very average looking woman with no eyebrows and a half grin. Enigmatic my arse, she just looks annoyed to me

Vettrianofan · 21/03/2024 07:39

Essential oils.

It's the equivalent of a 'selfie pose'? Today it would be black slug eyebrows, caked yellow make-up and a trout pout. Then it was no eyebrows and an enigmatic smile.

Alondra · 21/03/2024 07:42

Starbucks
Alexa
Prosecco
Fish and chips (Bought. Homemade is yummy)

Weefreetiffany · 21/03/2024 07:45

Personally i hate that everything is going back to feet and inches instead of the vastly superior (and comprehensive to anyone under 40, metres and centimetres) but flag polishers seem very pleased by this.

Yirk · 21/03/2024 07:45

Fur Babies !!
Costa.
Pouty lips

Me too. It's been the biggest disappointment I've seen of a masterpiece in person. I remember thinking, "Is this IT?"

DoloresDelEriba · 21/03/2024 07:47

False eyelashes
lip filler
hair dye
LS Lowry

Is it? I don't use feet and inches for anything. Nor do my parents in their 70s.

I've not noticed a shift backwards to imperial but if that is happening it is indeed very stupid.

hehe! I often wonder what people's reactions are when they actually see it in real life. Like, do most people have the nerve to say is this it??? or do they feel obliged to look all thoughtful and moved - the emperors new clothes kinda vibe. The art world is so pretentious that people just go along with it regardless of what they actually think of it

Devilshands · 21/03/2024 07:53

decaf-espresso. Just have fucking water

A video they insist on playing to you - unless it's a mutual passion and understanding, IDGAF what it is, I cannot stand having any video, ever, shoved in my face and being forced to watch, laugh despise you.

This 100%

Meowandthen · 21/03/2024 06:14

You need to teach you partner to how to do it properly.

Lol. That's a bit presumptuous

I don't have a partner currently. I'm middle aged....don't hate receiving it....I'd just rather give to my partner (and I've had it performed by quite a few fellas over the years.....some of whom I know are technically good at it....just has never done a lot for me)

SOxon · 21/03/2024 08:05

Public proposals, cringe
Razzmatazz weddings, renewal of vows,
revealing, low cut wedding dresses, hyperbolic declarations of adoration,
exaggerated petal strewing entrances, especially outdoors, especially
Italian clifftops,
baby showers, gender reveals, puppies in gift boxes,
Jonathon Ross- how? why?
pushed in face difficulty breathing dogs, French bulldogs, pugs, boxers
the ghastly Madonna
overhyped Beyonce, Emma Stone, Cillian, Lewis Capaldi, many more,
but most of all the appalling Miriam Margolyes

YT cooking tutorials by ladies with long hair brushed forward,
not tied back or covered, poor kitchen hygiene, cannot watch, hair soup anyone?

Oxford - filthy streets, (buses through pedestrianised section ?!)
totally lost its vibe, sadly

M&S food overloaded with sugar or palm oil, ditto Waitrose

Brooklyn. Beckham
Oxford Street
Regent Street
Covent Garden (pickpocket paradise)
The Coronation

Picturesque villages cut adrift by Oxford Council’s removal of hourly bus service, residents then complain the village is being spoilt by too many cars, speeding drivers, when as car owners they didn’t campaign to save the minimal bus service which didn’t run on Sundays or BH anyway, isolating teenagers, older residents, anyone who for whatever reason does not drive.
The Cotswolds, especially Bourton on the Water

Skincare and cosmetics still tested on little bunnies, despite companies saying they don’t, this practice still takes place in China
‘celebs’ or models advertising cruelly tested cosmetics
‘celebs’ obviously merching
the cult of the designer handbag, inspiring envy, desire, jealousy, resentment
speaking of fashion disasters, Vogue magazine,
‘influencers’ be they for lifestyle, clothes, interiors, shopping haul, clean with me, be there whilst I open this box of a new appliance, just bizarre,
Down allegedly collected from nests after the birds have flown away, eyeroll
New Years Eve
New Years Day

If "it's never done a lot" for you, then it's being done poorly. Sorry your partners have been crap.
