They're a very oversized, knee-length cagoule, mostly in camoflage print, that is lined with toweling, mostly day-glo pink. Originally designed for people to put on to keep warm after swimming outdoors or doing other watersports.

Once people get one they almost without exception live in them and now, in my seaside town, they can be seen constantly and everywhere including in the cinema and at Sainsbury's.
