When they were married iirc he was largely known for acting, and then in recent years (after divorce) he's mainly known for being an absolute knob. I don't know if that's coincidence? I can easily imagine he is difficult to even speak to let alone Coparent with!

I would imagine anyone would have difficulty in most tasks with Laurence Fox, never mind parenting.

Billie Piper should be defined by her acting career above all, agree perhaps any questioning about her past marriage should be off limits in future.

Billie is far, far more talented and successful than him. She probably gets more than £250k for one job. He is talking crap. Wasn't he saying that she was keeping the kids from him before? Id assume they live with her, and as teenagers, have decided they don't want to go to see him when he was at his most embarrassing. She cant lock a teenager in the house if he wants to go see his dad. Billie has terrible taste in men though.

I wouldn't necessarily blame Billie for making a bad choice of co-parent.

A lot of people who previously seemed fine went down conspiracy theory rabbit holes during Covid. Internet support groups are full of people in absolute despair about previously pleasant family members who've dived fully into Bilderberg/15 minute city/anti-vaxx/Q Anon poison and alienated all their RL friends and family. Some of them snap out of it, but LF couldn't afford to do that even if he wanted to.

She didn't even say coparenting with him was difficult. She said it was difficult specifically when he's in a media controversy that everyone wants to talk about.

His response just shows he's a "boo hoo, poor old victim me" narc type. Not surprised they had to go to court as that's entirely consistent with the behaviour of that kind of man.

And lots of women don't realise abusive men are abusive. That's how it works.

There are two sides to every story, his, hers and the truth. I dont think we should automatically jump to Billie's side since she was a large componant in the breakdown of the marriage. Yes i can well believe that Fox would be difficult to be in a relationship with but i have absolutely no doubt that he is a wonderful father and only wants to be in their lives and what is best for them. No-one knows what went on behind closed doors so we shouldnt judge his fustrations.

You can love your kids and still be a shit parent and a shitty human being...

And loving your children isn't an automatic pass to being a 'wonderful parent'. A wonderful parent does not drag their former spouse/partner through round after round of court actions, or berate them on twitter.

And according to his Twitter posts, he refuses to allow his child to take their prescribed medication.

Well if his public stance is anything to go by then he is probably a difficult man in private. Let us hope he is kinder to his children and has the ability to moderate himself in order to be a good father, not just a father.

His behaviour and outrageous comments will absolutely affect his children, especially the older one who likely has peers who all have access to social media.

You've got that the wrong way around. There were stories recently about cheating in the relationship but they were due to an actress saying that he asked her out multiple times while still married to Billie Piper...

Why on earth would you "have no doubt" that someone who appears to be racist and sexist and is happy to spout objectionable views for money, plus has been in family court, is a wonderful father?

He actually sounded sane and reasonable in his tweet but I don't buy it for a second. He's an egotistical, attention seeking idiot. I can only imagine what a nightmare he is to co parent with.

They will just make a decision not to see their father when they get old enough. Children grow to judge their parents which never seems to occur to men like this until it happens.
